Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness I think the courses are good and I rate it 8/10.The reason I chose this course is because I did alot of research on this college and found that it is good. The curriculum prepares the student very well for present and further academic pursuits. The exams are usually conducted in morning from 9am to 11:30am and the students have to finish it in 3 hours.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

So, the fee structure for the b.sc zoology course is not very much because it is a government college. So I will be paying 5,600 rupees per 6 monthe(i.e, 1 semester) and this includes all the fees. And my admission fee was. 10,000 rupees.

Campus Life

4

My over-all experience with the college campus is quite good though it can be improved. There are a wide range of books available in the library and I visit the library often. Inside the classrooms there are enough seats for all the students but the classrooms are hot which makes it hard for the students to attend all the classes.

Admission

I applied in a total of 4 colleges from which I chose B.borooah college because it was the best among all. This college also received a grade of A++ by NAAC which is only 1 in entire NorthEast. The admission process is quite simple and the minimum percentage required to get admission is 75%.

Faculty

3.5

The college has a lot of faculty members. I found them very friendly and they teach very well. They come forward to help the students when they doesn't understand something. The course runs for 6 months which completes 1 semester.
