Good Atmosphere

College management is good in bringing up ideas to explore the capabilities of each and every student. They provide numerous platforms for everyone to show their potentials.

Course Curriculum and exam structure are relevant and fair. All the courses and its syllabus is well prepared but for some of the subjects, it was lengthy. Exams are conducted every semester. Internal Exams are conducted twice every semester.

Other than academics TIST encourages its students to develop themselves. Arts day, sports day, college day and the National level fest 'Advay' are celebrated annually. Other than this each department celebrates a department fest annually. Various religious and social events are also celebrated.

I have not opted for any scholarship or educational loan. TIST provides a scholarship for its students, the details of which can be found on the college website.

As per my experience, TIST has an amazing campus. Various clubs like NSS, YoungIndians(YI) are functioning that helps in uplifting our social life and moral values. A notable experience is karma club which is focused on giving back to society. Various technical events are held and an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) also operate in TIST.

The alumni network is very strong with meetings happening once in every year and WhatsApp groups and common online forums keep people in touch. Senior students also help in bringing in more companies through networking.

I got admission after writing the KEAM Entrance Exam based on my KEAM rank. Admission started in the last week of June in the year 2015. The admission process took about 1 day. We had an orientation program where we got introduced to our classmates and teachers. We were given knowledge about the University and our subjects.

The faculty in our college is very supportive and helpful. Faculty are well trained and always motivate us. They are always supportive and friendly. All the teachers use the objective board. None of them fails to give attention to each student. They use various methods to teach which include in-detail explanation using blackboards, PPTs, and hands-on sessions. They also help us to think out of the box.
