Course Curriculum Overview

2

1) Main reason was MBA was my backup plan as I am preparing for government exams and this college was familiar and okayish so I chose this one. 2) Curriculum doesn't prepare you a bit for the real world. There's only book knowledge which is being taught. Although few good teacher's teaching makes you somewhat have the real world application understanding. 3) There should be atleast 2 industrial visits, seminars and encouragement for participation. Internships should be provided and teachers could improve their methods. 4) Frequency and timing of exam is fine as per other colleges.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

1) You have to find the internships for yourself, college won't provide you any. They don't even guide you about interships. Few good teachers will share intership opportunities and will encourage you to go for it. 3) None.

Placement Experience

1.5

1) From semester 2 you are eligible for campus placements but mostly placements come after 3rd semester and also the companies are few and unheard mostly. 3) I've given 3 interviews of teachnook, planet spark and BFIL respectively. 4) Highest package offered was 7LPA profiles all being management trainee or sales executive. 5) 20% of students are getting placed on an average. 6) To get a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

1) Yearwise fees for our course is 96000rs. 2) Bifurcation is a bit tough because now online fees is being paid with no bifurcation available. You have to contact office and management for the same. 3) There is zero fees for SC/ST students and students belonging to weaker economic section. 4) UP government scholarship is available which refunds atleast 45-50% of the yearly fees.

Campus Life

3

1) No major annual or technical festivals are held in this college. Sometimes students arrange themselves for fun like in Holi. That's it. 2) Library is big and has variety of books available. 3) Smart boards are now getting installed in few classrooms. 4) Sports is good you can play variety of sports and get selected in teams to compete. 5) None.

Admission

1) I had applied only 2 colleges first being this and other was University of Lucknow. This college has a okayish placement record and I did my graduation from this college so I was familiar that's why I chose this one. I was selected in both. 2) I didn't got any rejection as I cleared both exam and interview round of both colleges. 3) Admission is taken via CUET score or CAT/XAT/MAT exam scores basis.

Faculty

3.5

1) Faculty to student ratio is fine which averages from 1:20 to 1:80. It depends on your department. 2) Best teacher is no doubt Salil sir who's marketing faculty and has amazing teaching skills with real life relatable examples. 3) Faculties I didn't like are numerous and I'd not like to take names although I'd like to take one - Ramesh Chaturvedi of Management department. He didn't even teach a thing whole semester very egoistic and yet made a tough paper and did a tough marking. Every management student hates him. 4) There are 2 semesters in a year with 2 internals per semester. Overall they're easy I'd say if you study even moderately. Course curriculum is fine and relevant according to standards.

Other Applied Colleges

University of Lucknow - [LU] | Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Marketing)

It's MBA campus was new and also far away from my home. Main reason was it was new and wasn't credible about quality of education and placement.

The curriculum is outdated to say the least. I was guided by a family friend to study here. The curriculum will not help us in the corporate world. There are other options such as the incubation center and placement cell where you can volunteer to enhance your resume.

Usually companies start coming from the third semester. Companies like Info Edge, HCL, TCS, Google Turbo, etc. come in. And about 90% of students get placed. The highest package in MBA is Rs. 4 lakhsPA but this is a myth, usually placements happen below Rs. 10 lakhsLPA.Sales hr marketing researcher profile the offers. 90-95% I started my own startup after getting my degree.
