Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering- curriculum is ok, not that tough, first division marks can be obtained by a average student most students have done well in there career.
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide internship assistance, students have to arrange for themselves, and if they go for good company they may get stipend, college only wants completion certificate.
Placement Experience
Placement is ok, it could be around 50-60 percent max, in mechanical engineering and other core department placement is poor, in my batch hardly 30 percent people were placed and that too 20 percent in software..the companies visiting may include TCS (3.18 approx package),WIPRO, Tech mahindra(3.05 approx package), Ultratech cement ( 3.25 approx package), L&T (3.5 approx package) , essar group ( 3.8 approx package) , tata projects (3.9 approx) the visit of companies varies from year to year and not many companies come for recruitment.
College Events
Every branch has its own even, there is one centralized event once a year, many events are organized like robotic,ojas (multi even fest),super 8 etc. the events are organized on a huge level, the whole college and other colleges participate and its lots of fun to be there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Overall course fees is around 2 lakhs to 2.5 lakhs , fee is collected per semester around 25000 per semester, so its feasible, easy mode of fee deposition through challan.
Fees and Financial Aid
No loan facility is provided by the college, no scholarship is given by the college but for top ten branch openers of the college the course fee is waived off.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is almost equal, no hostel parties are organized, workshop and lab facility is good, robotics competition is organized from time to time and lots of cocurricular and extracurricular activities are conducted like singing dancing, skit standup comedy etc.
Hostel Facilities
Boys hostel is available in 3 sharing or 4 sharing, the rooms are not good, first year hostel has common bathroom, mess food is bad, not that good, but one can eat, boys hostel is in campus, and girls hostel is about 200 m away from campus, one can walk u
Alumni/Alumna
The college does not provide and network for the alumni, students have to build up there own network with seniors and alumni. whatever interaction happens is during various event in which all students take part equally.
Exam Structure
Total 8 semester, each semester has 2 class test,, the average marks of 2 class test is included in sessional marks, Class tests are conducted very seriously and just like the semester exams. class test are of 1 hour or 2 hour depending on situation. some
Faculty
Few faculty members are good, others don't have a good style of teaching, students may get bored and the subject thus becomes uninteresting.computer science engineering- faculty is good.
