Course Curriculum Overview

Masters in Urban Planning prepares the vital aptitudes for advancement and the board professions in urban arranging fields. The principle objective all through each program is to expand upon multi-disciplinary urban arranging abilities to be used for urban maintainability in certifiable situations.

College Events

Events organized in the CEPT campus are CEPT Summer Exhibition, CAG Training, Augmented Sandbox, Photography Competition, Poetics of Kinetics, Digital Fabrication, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the scholarship available and it is known as means and merit-based scholarship. This scholarship differs from 25 percent to 75 percent reduction of the fees depending upon the performance and GATE qualified students also get a stipend per month basis.

Campus Life

This is the best college, I have ever known. The campus is full adventurous extracurricular activities. Everyone is friendly there from teaching staff to nonteaching staff and alumni too.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni meet is there every year. It is organized every year which helps to communicate new students to their alumni and seek help from them regarding Exams, courses, curriculum, and assignments.

Admission

For the admission in Master’s programs in Urban Planning based on the marks obtained in the previous degrees and work experience followed by GD/ PI and Personal Interview round, one can get the admission.

Study at CEPT

Placement Experience:

Before the placements after the completion of the second semester, students can also do their optional internship. But over the years the students have found these internships very beneficial and the committees help the students to get through the placements as much as possible. Once the students have completed their third semester the placement procedure begins. The placement is well coordinated by the placement committee where reputed firms be a part of this process. During my batch, 95% of the transport students got placed. The ones who did not get placed were by choice as they had their commitments. The highest package offered was around 8 lakh per annum.

Excellent University with all facilities

Admission:

For admission, I went through the scrutiny test for eligibility of the program. I had been shortlisted for group discussion and personal interview and then I came into the merit list prepared by the college, got admission.

The course is only eligible for planners, architects, and civil engineers. I found out about it through the CEPT website and got the required details by connecting to CEPT admission. The first shortlisting was done based on the experience + marks achieved in (10+12) and graduate + SOP submitted + exam. The shortlisted students were then called for interview and writing and final shortlisting was done. There was a sufficient buffer and time in the process to think and decide on the course.
