Likes

college lab facilities are better.You can easily try all the things you taught in the theory classes.
There are various clubs or student sections which helps you to make your engineering ideas and thoughts.

Dislikes

sometimes the courses are not completed as the syllabus.
in summer days it is very hot environment.so we want Ac class rooms.

the courses which we study,Lab classes are there to provide us real application of that study.there are two types of exam happend.one is mid-sem which consists of 30 marks.another one is End-sem which consists of 50 marks.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements.there are many companies visited our college to give placement oppertunities to students like deloitte,JSW,Vedanta etc.the highest package was 54 lacs and average package was 10 lacs

Fees and Financial Aid

year-wise fees i paid is 80,000 which includes both course fee and hostel fee.There is an tution fee waiver(TFW) scholarship of 12,000.There is no other type of scholarships.yes,the fees increased this year.

Campus Life

annual festival name is vassaunt in which students showcase their extra-ordinary skills.Technical fest name is Samavesh in which technical compeititions were made for students.Library is best.All the books are available.

Hostel Facilities

in a room a bed,two fans,a table provided.menu is very good but the quality is little bit bad.hostel registraion process is simple.first you have to take admission and then your name came into hostel registraion form and then you stay in hostel after a successfull hostel payment.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

this is basically a government college.so we have to fill the form in ojee website.Acoording to that form and our merit basis selection is done.Stream also alloted in merit basis.so i get this college by my merit status.

Faculty

the faculty to student average ratio is 1 each to 10.Faculty to student relationship is better but some faculties are not supportive.The name of the faculty i liked is our first semester physics sir.sorry i will not say his name.

A quick view on KIIT university from a Fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty solid in KIIT university, the average goes around 8 to 9L every year and max package was about 56L in 2023. Being a fresher i am not sure about 2024 results yet, but many companies do visit college during placement season.

Placement Experience:

Placements are praiseworthy here. In my branch , average package is around INR 4 lakhs. There are good opputunities about getting a high paid job due to wide connectivity of the placement cell of the university. Its near 97 to 98 percent placement in all branches every year. My plans are to pursue higher studies since I am more allied to research purpose than industry working.

My VSSUT Experience

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as JSW, Delloite, Tata Power, Bitwise, Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Aqua Green, etc come to campus. Their average package differs from 3LPA to 6LPA. Some companies ask CGPA of more than 6 while other asks for 8. I'll be pursuing an M.Tech after getting a B.Tech Degree.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester, Placement opportunities are available and the criteria is more than 7.0 CGPA,No backlog. Based on the company criteria Many companies like TCS,Tech Mahindra, Wipro,Q-spider, Flipkart, Infosys, Aditya Birla group and 50+ others companies,No offers more than 330+ 75% of students are placed. Highest package is 18 lacs and Average package is 3lakhs based on the companies. More than 75% were getting placements. My plan is to getting placed in company approx package 6lacs per annum with job security

Kiit college-not too good not too bad

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

I have applied to OUTR, Bhubaneswar, IGIT, Sarang, and VSSUT, Burla. I got a confirmed admission from all three colleges but I chose VSSUT because it has an NIRF ranking of 151. Also, it has so many technical and cultural clubs from which I can enhance my skills as well as gain experience while working on many projects. No, I didn't get any rejection from another college. You can get admission to VSSUT through JEE or OJEE exam. You must secure 60% in your intermediate. The cut-off for different branches will be different.
