Likes

The teaching method of the faculty is quite good.
The technical society is strong enough to give you a good exposure

Dislikes

The classrooms are not so spacious and it feels like suffocated
The labs are not well equipped to carry on the experiment

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is quiet interesting and newly equipped skill based curriculum the major changes that the curriculum is industry ready courses which help the students to reach to there desired company .

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

See we don't have a yearly wise payment but we have a semester wise payment option.But if we have to calculate yearly payment is around Rs70,000. Now in this 70,000 it includes hostel mess fees,development fees etc. TFW yearly is around Rs58,000 NTFW yearly is around Rs70,000 There are many scholarships are being offered by State government

Campus Life

We have our Technical fest-SAMAVESH and cultural fest -VASSAUNT which is itself the top in class. There are also quiet new things to learn as you can join technical clubs one such club is AEROTECH.

Admission

See although I had a quiet good jee rank i got CET Also. But after seeing the placement scenerio and the reviews on the website I decided to go to vssut and get my hands on to the new field of engineering.

Faculty

There is a good amount of student to teacher ration i.e 1:10 . Some of the teachers a quiet cooperative and have good teaching experience.There is quiet good teaching experience of the teachers in there respective fields.

A quick view on KIIT university from a Fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty solid in KIIT university, the average goes around 8 to 9L every year and max package was about 56L in 2023. Being a fresher i am not sure about 2024 results yet, but many companies do visit college during placement season.

Placement Experience:

Placements are praiseworthy here. In my branch , average package is around INR 4 lakhs. There are good opputunities about getting a high paid job due to wide connectivity of the placement cell of the university. Its near 97 to 98 percent placement in all branches every year. My plans are to pursue higher studies since I am more allied to research purpose than industry working.

My VSSUT Experience

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as JSW, Delloite, Tata Power, Bitwise, Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Aqua Green, etc come to campus. Their average package differs from 3LPA to 6LPA. Some companies ask CGPA of more than 6 while other asks for 8. I'll be pursuing an M.Tech after getting a B.Tech Degree.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester, Placement opportunities are available and the criteria is more than 7.0 CGPA,No backlog. Based on the company criteria Many companies like TCS,Tech Mahindra, Wipro,Q-spider, Flipkart, Infosys, Aditya Birla group and 50+ others companies,No offers more than 330+ 75% of students are placed. Highest package is 18 lacs and Average package is 3lakhs based on the companies. More than 75% were getting placements. My plan is to getting placed in company approx package 6lacs per annum with job security

Kiit college-not too good not too bad

Students become eligible for placement from 7 sem onwards till that they can try for off campus placement. According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

I have applied to OUTR, Bhubaneswar, IGIT, Sarang, and VSSUT, Burla. I got a confirmed admission from all three colleges but I chose VSSUT because it has an NIRF ranking of 151. Also, it has so many technical and cultural clubs from which I can enhance my skills as well as gain experience while working on many projects. No, I didn't get any rejection from another college. You can get admission to VSSUT through JEE or OJEE exam. You must secure 60% in your intermediate. The cut-off for different branches will be different.
