The management is good and I have felt my first year of college extremely awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview

The College is affiliated to SPPU University and SPPU 2015 Curriculum is followed in the college academics. As per the instructions of my faculty members, the syllabus was revised recently and is made more research oriented. Regular practice and self-study are essential for scoring good marks in the exam.

Placement Experience

Being a first-year student I have not attended any internships yet. But I have heard my seniors have attending campus drives and internships

College Events

My college gives sufficient space for cultural activities. I have felt a balance in academics and cultural activities. We celebrate Freshers day, Induction program, Tarang, Days events and sports events in college. We also celebrate Techno Meet, Quiz completions, and Project competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have felt that the fees in my college are less compared to other colleges. The fees are approximately in the range of INR 60000/- for open category students. The college admission guidance cell provides enough knowledge about various Scholarship schemes that the student can avail. The fee for my category (VJ) comes around 13000/-

Campus Life

My college gives sufficient space for cultural activities. I have felt a balance in academics and cultural activities. Lab facilities are also good and we are provided with a reading room facility in our college that is accessible till 11 PM at night.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not aware of any alumni network as I'm currently in the first year of college. I have seen functions organized by the department for our seniors who have already passed out of college.

Admission

I got admission to the college through CAP round 1. Although the admission process was lengthy the college admission guidance cell helped me through it easily. I filled the forms present in the MH CET official website and attached the required documents and duly submitted the form.

Faculty

They are highly qualified and skilled staff members and they are friendly and are easily approachable. They guide us in solving tough scenarios and help us in bringing the best out of us. Personally, my teachers have helped me not only in academics but also supported me in resolving personal issues.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I had applied to only a few colleges which include COEP which is a Govt. college itself and the second one is MIT college of engineering which is a private college in Pune Maharashtra and the third one is my college in which I am currently pursuing my B.E degree in the fields of Information Technology. I didn't take any Quota because I'm in a general category itself. Very good college.

I admitted through MHTCET criteria. College is not so far from my hometown. I want to regular with up-down transportation from my home. Fees are in my budget. It has good facilities and faculty. The staffs are also good. Good things- 1. The college has a big playground. 2.have a good library and labs. 3.diversity in students. 4.24 hours free wifi 5.hightech server rooms 6.facilitate mechanical workshop Bad things- 1.drinking water is not available at college you have to go to the canteen for it. 2.less trees on the ground The admission process was simple.
