Remarks

Admission process based on cap round which was taken by govt of Maharastra cet cell. The minimum marks required for admission is 10+2 pass out with grouping in PCM for engineering and mht-cet marks as per college requirements. in the admission process, there is verification of educational documents and other imp documents like caste certificate and caste validity etc.

I choose the information technology course because in day to day life India becomes make digital and technology help us to make harder work in an easy way. my college faculty is graduated, post graduated and PhD pursuing and completed. In my classroom, there are 60 students batch.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11428 per year

Placement Experience

There is campus placement like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. There is the highest package is 5.5lakh. 35% of students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to improve my technical skills like programming.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees structure based on caste criteria. There is post matric scholarship for caste students and for open caste students there is ebc and panjabrao Deshmukh hostel scholarship. there is campus placement available in my college.

The campus is big and green everywhere. annual gathering program also conducted in our college there is a central library there is vast of the book are available. The sports department have an indoor hall for the indoor game and a very big playground for cricket, basketball, kho kho, kabaddi, volleyball etc.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facilities are comfortable for us because of CCTV, security, free wifi, 24hrs light, warm water, ro drinking water, etc. mess have a balanced diet, nutrient food healthy food provided to us. we live near to college of 10min away.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I had applied to only a few colleges which include COEP which is a Govt. college itself and the second one is MIT college of engineering which is a private college in Pune Maharashtra and the third one is my college in which I am currently pursuing my B.E degree in the fields of Information Technology. Very good college.

I admitted through MHTCET criteria. College is not so far from my hometown. I want to regular with up-down transportation from my home. Fees are in my budget. It has good facilities and faculty. The staffs are also good. Good things- 1. The college has a big playground. 2.have a good library and labs. 3.diversity in students. 4.24 hours free wifi 5.hightech server rooms 6.facilitate mechanical workshop Bad things- 1.drinking water is not available at college you have to go to the canteen for it. 2.less trees on the ground The admission process was simple.
