Course Curriculum Overview

The exam structure of PGMCOE referred by research methodology. the exam curriculum it is relevant through SPPPU university. The college organized an innovative practice test according to the relevant branch so we improve our knowledge from this test. the college organized Objective Test, General Knowledge Test and other Technical tests like MOOCs, Rank sheet, etc.

Placement Experience

In the 2018-2019 placement of PGMCOE MAX.105 Students placed in a different company.The college tie-up many companies like Thermax, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Infosys, Info-tech.

College Events

In our college celebrated every festival like tree plantation, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga puja, Shivaji Jayanti, teachers day, Christmas celebration, rainbow color day celebration Engineers day, Science day celebration like more festival we are celebrated in our PGMCOE College.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In our college Fees structure very less but the education of our PGMCOE College outstanding.so it is relevant all backward category. EBC provides like Scholarship also for Less than 8 LAC /- yearly income they got the schlorship facility. and SC category has 0/- fees so it is very benifits of our college. college provide GAMES, Drinking, ground, etc.

I have opted scholarship according to category. it is a very good facility.in open category also opted Punjabrao Deshmukh hostel facility.

Campus Life

A note on campus life, gender ratio and diversity very good like free environment. the ratio of our college girls and boys 1100. an extracurricular activity like yoga day physical education, sports, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates.it is a very good facility.

Regarding studies and project scenario they help us. they guidance about studies research. they help us properly. they guide the best knowledge.

Admission

I got admission in Parvatibai Genba Moze College Of Engineering through CAP (1st) round through MH- CET 2018. The process of admission was very lengthy. Regarding Admission Document Process was very difficult and it was uploaded from Facilitation Centre. then Round started from after 3-4days. then fill option form and put the college name in FC(Facilitation Center) according to our choice and then result out from round to round and after result we final the college admission.

Faculty

our college faculty very experience people like Ph.D. holder and max.20-25yrs. Faculty. The best teachers in our college's PROF. Lal Sir taught Mechanics, Dr.Ashwini Barve from Chemistry and Asst.Prof.Rashmi Panherkar from Electrical branch (BEE) AND prof.Manisha(BXE).THE hod of our FE Dept.Prof.Dheeraj Kumar Lal.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I had applied to only a few colleges which include COEP which is a Govt. college itself and the second one is MIT college of engineering which is a private college in Pune Maharashtra and the third one is my college in which I am currently pursuing my B.E degree in the fields of Information Technology. I didn't take any Quota because I'm in a general category itself. The admission process is as same as other colleges the cap rounds in which you have to select colleges according to your preferences and marks. Very good college.

I admitted through MHTCET criteria. College is not so far from my hometown. I want to regular with up-down transportation from my home. Fees are in my budget. It has good facilities and faculty. The staffs are also good. Good things- 1. The college has a big playground. 2.have a good library and labs. 3.diversity in students. 4.24 hours free wifi 5.hightech server rooms 6.facilitate mechanical workshop Bad things- 1.drinking water is not available at college you have to go to the canteen for it. 2.less trees on the ground The admission process was simple. When the merit list release you have to submit documents at the college in which you have selected for.after submitting documents you have to go through there processes based on the college system if it is autonomous or other.
