Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the businesses and companies need to keep the record of their accounts. So they need an accountant. And if you are a commerce student then you can be the accountant of your own business. Or the chances of finding jobs are better.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 2200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid ?2200 yearly for my course and ?700-?900 for tuitions. (depends on the subjects of different semester) Almost every student pays the same. I received scholarship of ?12000 two times. There are another scholarships as well.

Campus Life

My college campus is my second home. The experience is not explainable. This is so good. I will miss it later. Infrastructure is decent. I am satisfied with my experience. And we work for people who needs help.

Admission

I applied to this college by filling the application form online. This college has decent NAAC grade and the Commerce Department of this college is better than other colleges. Professors are so good. They teach us very well.

The duration of my course is three years. There are six semesters in this course. We are given six months for every semester. We have to give ineternal exam and external exam in each semester. Internal exams are moderate. Not so easy and not so tough. But externals are mainly tough. Faculty members are good.

After 5th semester , a student is eligible for placements and big companies like TCS, Reliance, etc. Offers opportunities to students. The package ranges 2-3lpa on average. This is all I know about it as I'm in 3rd sem for now.

SXC - a dream come true for every student.

Placement Experience:

After 5th sem , students are eligible for placements. Huge companies like TCS visits the campus. 2- 3 lpa is average. I just have a plan to get the placement in a good company and work therefore 6 months to gather experience and move to a bigger company.

This college is one of the famous colleges in Kolkata. This college has all the facilities available in the campus itself. The fact that everything is present in the campus makes it so interesting for all the students be it academics or be it co-curricular activities. Each day there is some interesting activity that takes place in the campus which helps us to deal with real world applications. Even the teaching method is good. The difficulty level of the exams is a bit tough which makes it a bit difficult for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.com is a very flexible course for any commerce student . This particular curriculum of the College is probably not the best , because the classes are very uncertain and there's no rules and regulations for this course in the college the attendance is completely not compulsory which gives the students all the reason for not attending the college and the teacher are not very serious also However this curriculum does provide a real life exposure to the students if they want to take up finance, marketing and tax as their future working skill , the only area of improvement is the necessity of attendance and the marking scheme of CU which is extremely poor , a lot of times students fail in subjects due to I'll checking system which is a major concern. The frequency and timing of exams are very specific and the difficulty level is 3/5

SXC Kolkata is Queering other colleges of Kolkata!!

Placement Experience:

KPMG, E&Y and the big four that we call are the ones who get at SXC Campus. For B.Com (Hons) highest package so far was when E&Y broke the bank at 28 Lpa for one of the students in 2023. Almost 75% students are placed here and considering the demand and supply, this is a great ratio.
