I'm pursuing IT engineering and the course and subjects are perfectly matching with the knowledge needed to be an It engineer. Each and every sem comes with different types of domians needed to get covered.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided by college in 7th sem. There are many opportunities of intership by different companies and it's not an issue in this college. You just need to be regular in filling the forms for it without failing.

Placement Experience

Placements are good, they provide average 5 to 6 lpa placement upto maximum placement of 10 to 20 lpa according to your skills. I would prefer to take placement from outside rather then taking it from the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is 31000. So we can complete 2 sem(1year) in 61000. Fees is affordable and we can also avail scholarship of mysy form if eligible. The whole course can be completed within 300000. Bus transportation is a little bit costly.

Campus Life

Campus is good but the sports group is not maintained. Sports ground is the main part of campus which should be attractive and maintained. Other activities excluding sports are good and students enjoy it.

I've selected this college by comparing the average placement provided but i would prefer to select college according to the reviews of students who are currently studying there and the campus of the college.

Faculty

Faculty team of the college is helpful and supportive. Faculty provide detailed information on each subject. Mid term material is provided and question bank of each subject is also provided. There are mainly 3 exams. Mid term of 30.marks and in final submission practical exams are taken place and final 70 marks exam of gtu.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Indus university: an honest review

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, infosys, wipro and local IT firm visit, offering roles like developer and analyst. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA and highest is 8 LPA, with 60% placements. I plan to upskill and apply off-campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
