College Life At GIT Gandhinagar

Course Curriculum is followed as per the Gujarat Technological University that is GTU which is outdated. The same old books amd syllabus which was introduced decades ago is being tough with the excuse that this is the basics and hence is a must for you all to learn. Seriously speaking there is no real world application. Everyone study the syllabus just to pass the exams. There is no excitement left to study the subject. I think syllabus should be based on today's world. That should create a sense of excitement among the students. Topics like drones, Virtual Reality etc should be introduce. There are 2 mid semester and one University level exam every year. Passing atleast one mid semester exam for a particular subject is must to allow yourself to seat in University exam.

Placement are not too good and also not too bad. It is fairly decent. Our Overall Average goes to 2.5 to 3 lacs per annum. Most of the companies that visit our campus are local company. They do offer a decent package but their offer is on conditional bonds. Talking about highest package, it is about 9 LPA but it is of MBA student. Engineering might jave something about 5 or 6 which is very rare and only gets to a exceptional student.

I have paid rupees 33 thousand as my per sem fees which would make 66 thousand rupees yearly. I dont think mentioning the detail fee structure would be any helpful as you won't be allowed to opt out of particular fee charges. At last you will be paying 33k as a whole amount. As far as I know there ia not any fee wavier on the basis of cast. You only get cast benefit on the time of cutoff and admission. There are various scholarship which you can apply. Various Government scholarships like mysy scholarship or Economic Weaker Section Scholarship which you can avail. Also our college also provide TFWS for students who has outperform with exceptional scores in the admission exams.

Our College have its our annual Techfest which is the center of attraction of the year. This Techfest is named TechXtreme. Every year our college organize a grand event after a successful completion of TechXtreme and a special celebrity guest is also invited in this events. Also our college is famous for its ratri before navratri event which is generally organized before navratri. In this event also a famous celebrity is invited who sings garba all night. We also have a sport event annually which last about a week or 10 days. There are various events going on in this college. Also various groups are made for different things.

Me choosing this college is more of a helplessness rather than a choice. My family conditions were not good enough to allow me to go to other city and learn. I need to be here in my city with my parents. Also I was getting lower branch in respective college of my city but I wanted to learn CS. Also I didn't have anyone to guide me so you know. Admission process is very easy you just have to give the GUJCET. A state level college admission examination. Also there are various other ways to get in the college.

Faculties are nice to student. They are supportive and encouraging. They mention a healthy student faculty relationship and always available to your queries. Engineering Exams are mostly easy but with a catch that is that you should have studied the subject. Mostly mid semester exams are repeatative from previous year question papers if that particular subject. Also the main university exam is mostly from PYQs. So dont worry you will get pass if you have studied and have done some pyqs practice. Course Curriculum is as per the GTU which is mostly outdated. But knowledge has no limits.

Right now our college does not have a active hostel of its own so night life question is invalid here. Also there is no gym as of now. But our college does have a excellent cafeteria AC equipped. Since our college is located in the village side area so there are many spring ponds nearby where we hangout couple of times. Yes during the event which are generally at nights we have enjoyed night life around the campus. At night the campus is really unrecognizable maybe due to lighting and decorations. Campus timings are generally from 9 am to 3 pm.
