Likes

Our college has good laboratories for aeronautical, aerospace, mechanical, mechatronics, and automobile.
It has a good library with huge no of books

Dislikes

You will have minimal number of fests. To be frank dont expect fest from our college
Recently many senior staff has resigned. University didnt do anything to stop them from going. They are filling those senior roles with new professors who dont have that much experience as compared to professors who left the univ
There is no proper contact between student and management. Its the main thing that i dont like about my univ.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is good. But my review will not be use to you because they have changed the course curriculum now for my juniors. I just saw the course curriculum it looks good but i havent studied in that curriculum so i cant give honest opinion but when i compare both i felt in my curriculum students have less burden compared to new one

Internships Opportunities

Our college doesnt directly provied interships for Students. But professors guide you and provides some opportunities for students to get internships. Some outside organizations also provides internships to ours college students.

Placement Experience

As for my batch we had good placements. Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester. Since my department is aeronautical we have less companies visited. 4 companies visited (boeing, indigo, saffron, capgemini). We got packages ranging from 9 lpa to 4.5 lpa. With an average of 6lpa. Nearly 60 to 70 students got placed outof 210 students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 1,62,000 in my first year and 1,42,000 for rest of three years. Fee is varied for everyone. Some of my friends pay nearly 2.5lakhs as fee per year. But many of us have around 1.5 to 2 lakh fee if you get good rank in our college entrance exam you will be getting scholarship from college. If you have good merit in 12th college may consider for scholarship

Campus Life

Over all college environment is good. In campus it feels very good. Campus has lot of trees. Coming to fests to be frank we only have one fest every academic years that to for only one day. It didnt even feels like a college fest. Some times you will have friday gigs.

Admission

I am an aeronautical engineer. Our college is one of the most famous private colleges in india for aeronautical. It have good aero labs. You can find all types of labs here. Even other colleges have labs as good as our college but in my college my fee is half when compared to other colleges who has labs and faculty as good as my college. To get admission you have to appear for college entrance exam or you can get admission through 12th marks or jee score

Faculty

Mostly we have good faculty. Faculty to student relationship is good. But there will always be an x factor. Some faculty shows more favour towards there mother tounge language students. My course curriculum is good. But as of now they have changed the course curriculum for my juniors so i have no idea about that. About exams as usual you will have 8 semesters. More or less 7 theory papers and 2 labs in even semester and 3 labs in odd semester.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

I did my JEE mains preparation for 2 months and got 87.8 percentile but the cutoff for the year 2022 was 88 percentile for general category. I still had option to join various NITs for cse and other courses, but I have made my mind to study only aeronautical engineering. So I did some research and came to know about this college. I am saying this again. This college is the best for this course apart from IITs. But the faculties may not be what you expected. There are entrance exams but I personally think it's a scam. Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

I had applied to SRM, VIT, KCG and SNU. I chose this college as it has a relaxed campus culture compared to other colleges, they also have international exposure which helps us migrate to other foreign universities for a semester exchange program. I was selected in SRM and VIT-AP but was rejected from SNU during the interview session and seat limitation, I would have gotten rejected as I wasnt confident in the interview session. The admission process at HITS is simple, you have to register for the HITSEEE exam from their website and its an exam that you can write from your house, the basic eligibilty is 10+2 with atleast 50 percent in maths, physics and chemistry, they also accept TNEA exam students and give direct admission to the NRI students. The cuttoff depends on the course and category and might vary based on reservations as well. The admission experience was pretty straightforward, post the confirmation mail about the rank after writing the HITSEEE exam, there will be a counselling session where we could choose our course and department based on our rank. There is also a management quota for students who wouldnt have performed well in the entrance exam and they are charged more fees than the others....Read More
