Vit chennai honest review

The curriculum is well built for the current industry and they do change or edit the curriculum every year. Frequency of exams are a little bit high. You wont get any free time till the end of the semester.

Internship opportunities are govem by the college with stipend around 40k per month if you manage to crack it or else you will have to find one yourself. And you are required to do 2 projects in your 3rd year.

Students become eligible for campus placement after 6th semester. A lot of companies visit the college such as microsoft, google, amazon, cognizant, pfizer, siemens, bosch. Around 200 companies visited last time. Highest package this year was 54 lpa. Most of the students applying for placements do get placed (90% approx). After getting the degree i plan to work for a few years and study mba and pursue my career in bussiness.

Depending on your rank for viteee exam and your prefered branch you will be selected in different fees categories. Category 1- 2lakh per year, Category 2- 3lakh, category 3- 4 lakh, category 4- 4.5 lakh, category 5-5 lakh per year. Caution fees is 10000rs. Thats all there is. Scholarships are not provided by the university but you can try for other national scholarships.

Technical fest is called technovit and cultural fest us vibrance they are held in september and march respectively. The library is huge with a lot of books and resources all textbooks and reference is available in library and you can lend it.sports are offered but depends on your interest. There are a lot of student run clubs and special teams which are very good for development of your career into whatever field you want to go into.

Hostel is good. Ac works well. Food is great. Ambulance service is available. Rooms have individual cupboards, bunk beds , ac , table and chair, shelf, mirror for each person. Food is good and non veg is frequently given. Registration process is through the web portal.

I chose this college even tho the fees is high compared to other colleges but there are a lot of placements and packages are high. I also applied for nits,amrita and bits. I got a rejection from nit but i was selected for amrita and bits but vit seemed like a better choice. The exam accepted is conducted by the university under the name VITEEE. and course allotment depends on rank.

There are a lot of faculty and each class consists of 70 students. Faculty are very approachable and you can collaborate with them in publishing papers. There are three exams in an year, 2 exams worth 15% of weightage (total 30%) 3 assignments worth 10%( total 30%) and one final exam worth 40%. Around 2 or 3 students might fail the exams every year per subject.exams are pretty difficult. But the course curriculum is pretty forward and relevant.
