PCU review soo far but a 1st year.

The curriculum for the 1st year is good for building the basics and then the curriculum form 2nd year on wards is pretty good for the selected coruse . The curriculum could include more activities and opportunities like hackathons and more intership opportunities to get us ready for the real world.

The college has promised internship opportunities for 3rd year students and on words so the potnetial for good internships is there, and since it comes under the PCET trust and is in pune which is an it hub , the internship opportunities are pretty good .

As for now no student has been placed form this preticular college yet as it was established in the year 2023 but the placement potential is pretty good as this college comes under the PCET trust , so the chances of a good placement is good enough.

The yearly fees of this college is 210000rs per year with additional 10000rs for admition. This college did charge 850rs as the application fees and additional 10000rs for admition.This college provides 70% discount on fees for ST category students. This college also charges additonal 5400rs for the uniform. This college also provides scholarship opportunities for students who have scored 90+percentile in jee mians and 95+ percentile in cuet and mhcet exams.

For the 1st year students the college is mainly focused on academics but er have been told that we will get more opportunities 2nd year on wards . The sport facilities here are still in development and might need more time to be well established . The classroms are pretty standard and the tech facilities and resources in the linary are decent enough .

The Hostel provided by the college is pretty good with good sanitaion but one major issue we face is that there is frequent power cuts and no generator yet . The hostel is pretty close to the college so its very convient when it comes to going to the college.

I choose this college over other potential colleges mainly because of the placement potential and the comparatively low fees for Btech. I did get confirmed admitions in Christ University Lavasa capmus and SJU Bangalore for Bca hons , i did not take admision in ethier of them because Betch Degree fess in Pcu was very similar to what i would be paying if i had gone in either one for a Bca degree. To be eligibile for this this college one must have 45% in there 12th board exams and the exam socre accepted are jee mains ,cuet,mhcet and the online entrance exam that this college counducts.

The faculty members here are not very fluent when it comes to teahcing in English. Because of the strict attendance policy the college feels more like a school. The faculty members are approachable and the student faculty relationship is good enough.The faculties for Personal ethics and computer practicle and basic engineering are the faculties i liked as the teachers know what they are teaching and have a good personality. Each subject in this college is of 100 makrs and the exam pattern of each subject consists of an end sem eaxm of 60 marks and the rest 40 mark is divided into 20 makrs internal and two unit tests of makrs 20 each from which they will take the average of the two as the final unit test marks.

There was no interview as such but we did need to give an entrance test hosted by the college. The test compared to other comptittive exams is easier and with good basic knowlege in physics, chemistry and maths can be aced .
