Course Curriculum Overview
I have always aspired to be a civil servant hence I opted for this curriculum it proved to be really helpful in my further preparation and hence I decided to move ahead in this course and do my masters in this as well. The exams are held every year or if semester wise every 6 months and is not very difficult to clear the exam.
Internships Opportunities
As I was a BA plain student I didn't got any internship opportunities from my college however my other friends pursuing B.COM or other courses were approached by companies like Flipkart, Reliance etc. for sales and marketing jobs for freshers paying around 2.5 lap.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid year wise a total of 4000 including the exam forms and college fees. It includes all the compulsory charges and caution money etc. The SC/ST candidates can avail the scholarship and also the books available for them. Also there is scholarship scheme for merit students as well run by government and can be available after the formalities.
Campus Life
I was very active in my college activities, be it the NSS camps and activities or annual functions. The library is quite accessible although you have to make a lot of efforts to issue a single book. The college is well equipped with technological provisions. The student run social groups like students union or ABVP has a lot of interference in college activities and influence students from studies, involving them into college politics.
Admission
I've applied for several other colleges like Allahabad University, RIE bhopal but due to COVID the entrance exams were cancelled and I didn't got selected in any other colleges due to my average grades. Also this college was in my hometown and I didn't have to move to any other city it was easy to continue my preparation and studies.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is highly concerning and the students coming from rural areas face issues building a good faculty to students relationship. I liked my English literature faculty and the department head are really supportive towards students. Although some of the teachers are mean and rude to students. The exam pattern is a bit easy, most of the students can clear the exam easily and the curriculum is also relevant.
