Likes

Huge Infrastructure of the campus including various ways to refresh yourself during free time
Common room for boys and girls to play games like table tennis, chess,carrom board.
College fest was the best part of the college as there were lots of opportunities to show your talent

Dislikes

Really unhygienic washroom no maintenance at all
Searing capacity in cafeteria was less as compared to the number of students
Teachers were always in a hurry to finish the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a teacher in nepali subject so i choose this course. The curriculam does not prepare you for the real world applications as the teachers are always ina hurry to finish the syllabus. The teachers could be more creative towards their teaching stratergy.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I only had to pay 2000 Rs on the time of admission There were various charges according to the type of category i.e St,Sc. Allover the expense were not much, anyone could afford to study in this college.

Campus Life

College fest was fun as we all could show our creativness and talent to the other students. Various range of books are available in the college library. No smart class there were only a single black board and a white board.

Admission

I applied to two colleges in sikkm i.e Nar bahadur bhandari degree college and Burtuk govt college. No i did not get rejection on either of the college. The admission process is really simple as we have to have 60+ in class 12 in order to get admission in this college.

Faculty

Faculty and student realtionship is just like anyother schools,they are not much approachable at all. There were total of 3 exams in a semester that were session A, sessional B and End Term, at an interval of 6 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated, they need to update it. The professors try to accomodate and teach stuff out of the syllabi as per the emerging trends. The difficulty level is average and the exams are easy to score on.

As per the course i had no idea which one was good for me. Nor did i have a seniour who could guide us. We should have atleast a month in collage to decide our course. If it is possible we should be given a month at the start of collage to discuss with the faculty based on our strength to choose the course we want.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always enjoyed English as an subject and later I decided to choose this course . The curriculum I don't know but the teachers are really hardworking and good with lessons making it easy to understand ,there was a teacher she was teaching a very difficult lesson I still remember she made a ppt filled with memes so that we could understand it better , I found that really kind and an opt dedication towards her job . The sessionals are held for 1 hour and the end term for 2 , talking about the difficulty level it depend on the way that u have prepared it .

Term 1 contains of 25 marks which will be written , term 2 contains 25 marks which can be written or your HOD might ask for assignments and the last paper is 50 . The passing criteria is 33

my college is best

-Colleges I applied for : SMIT: B.Sc Chemistry, SMIMS: B.Sc MLT, Cardiovascular Tech. I choose this college because I only need a B.Sc degree for my further decision of giving competitive exams, hence did not prefer to spend on fancy degrees -I got accepted into all the colleges I applied for( not bragging,it's easy) -You apply online after finishing your 12th, bare minimum of 60% is required on your main subject (depends on your course).
