Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is well designed. The student are taught what they need to be taught. The courses covers all the aspect of the curriculum. Real life examples are taught to students, they are taken on site visit , regular activities are held. However more practical knowledge rather than theoretical needs to be given to the students in order to make them industry ready.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities for the students by calling the companies for the recruitment of the students. Students can also opt for ON JOB TRAINING (OJT) for their preference. Stipend provided depends on the company but is is around 15000 to 28000 per month.
Placement Experience
The placement of the civil engineering branch is ok . About 90 percent of children get selected and the average package is about 4 LPA. Companies like Autodesk, Soben, Al-Rakha, Capgemini, Cube Highways visit for the on campus placement. The students are eligible for placement after the end of 3 year or in their last year of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total Course fees is 120000 per semester but you can get upto 30-50 percent of scholarship based on LPUNEST exam and also on the basis of class 10 and 12 marks. Currently I am giving 72000 per semester fees and having 40 percent scholarship
Campus Life
The campus life of LPU is considered to be the best amongst all the private universities and i also approve it. Lots of activities are carried out every month by different clubs of the college. The library is fully equipped with lots of books. The university also organises inter school sports tournament and athelic meet every year in which students from different branches and courses compete with each other. I would like to say that the campus life is good in LPU.
Admission
I took admission in this college at the time of covid and the college was in virtual mode. I was trying for NIT but my percentile was not sufficient and then my sister approached me to take admission here. For getting admission you need to give LPUNEST Exam and clear it . I am not sure about the cutoff but the exam is of 420 marks
Faculty
Talking about the academics each and every faculty is upto the marks and have high education qualification. They are also friendly and hard working. The faculties to student ratio about 1:20. Exams are held twice in a semester known as mte and ete. The level of exams is good.
