What Students Say?
Likes
- The professors are really good at their job the are there if you need anything (they'll make you feel at home)
- The campus is not really huge but it's really green and there's plenty of freah air and place to hang out
Dislikes
- That we have to transfer the apeejay university and not just complete the course here
- The area ougside the college is an industrial area it's not abandoned but there's a lot of traffic and you can never find the autos and cabs
Course Curriculum Overview
I was really interested in the digital world amd everything so i opted for communication design in digital media the curriculum is average but there's no phones laptops or tablets allowed in classes and i feel like that's was a big bummer for me because there was no teaching us about digital art and all the exams are not that hard it totally depends on your work and how you showcase it
Internships Opportunities
The internships are provided in the last semester of the course but it totally depends on your work and how skilled are you like if a company likes your work they might offer you a full time job the companies which come during placements are marks &spencer, shoppers stop etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Total fees for the whole course is 910000 and the year wise 230000(approx) the fees is same for all the bachelor's in design courses and there's no financial aid considering the fees is not extremely high there's no other charges but there's a lot of stationery requirements which was kind of expensive
Campus Life
There's plenty of fests organised by the college (not music festivals) there's educational, the library is filled with so many books you can read you can find almost any design related book there but the theory part is so low yoh wouldn't even need them, the classes are especially designed for sketching and and drawing so you'll be comfortable, the college has different clubs like sports, photography, social and so on, there are no student run social clubs but there are plenty of ngos in delhi you can join
Admission
I Applied to msu baroda for the same course but i didn't get the course i wanted and this college was closer to my home and it had fairly decent ratings that's why i chose this. I gave the uceed exam but the rank i got didn't get me into any college i wanted and this college's fees was okay so i chose this. The admission process is really simple you just pay the admission fees and they interview you and check your portfolio but most of the people who applied got in
Faculty
The student and faculty ratio is fairly decent the professors are approachable and really helpful they are really good at their work and help us in everything. The best teacher i liked was anjali mam she is really friendly and really good to us. I liked the teachers here they are the professionals and they know what they are saying better than us i would not say i didn't like themthe exams are conducted every semester's end the jury comes and judges the work and ask us about the work just like any other design school the theory exam is not that hard but you have to pass both theory and practicals to pass the classes the ratio is around 70:30
