All u must know about BIT DURG

As i see myself as a field person so choosing civil engineering is ofcouse my decision to pursue my career in field work nor choosing a desk job. The curriculum doesn't provide you the practical knowledge about civil engineering that u have to learn through yourself giving time to practical knowledge.

Balaji was the one company which came for internship in civil engineering branch. Larsen and tourbo also offered paid internship last year for 6000 which i dont know was worth or not because i didn't signed for that.

The placement drive starts after u pass your 6th semester exam . There are countable amount of companie that come here for placement. Especially these are mass recruiters like cognizant and tcs. 30% student get placed approximately and rest unplaced. Civil engineering branch have the worst placement .

The detailed fee structure is as follows - Thae approx fees is 80000 per year followed by 40000 per semester .As im a general category student the tution fees is 28000 per semester and other development fees is 3000. Furter miscellaneous fees are approx 7000.The registration fees for a student is 1000 . And their are scholarship for students lying in categories approx 18000 yearly . The fees of my batchmates are also same for all.

There is only one cultural fest held in the month of August in which also there was no support from college administration. The students get to work hard for the show to happen and also it was discontinued due to covid. But from last tear it is again happening so kudos to us children making it happen with a banger.

Hostel facility is just so poor. We have to share same room for 3 children making it hectic .The meal quality is not so bad but not so good also. They have weekly menu which they follow. The hostel is affordable in some manner as it cut down the extra expenses.

Me choosing this college was simple that it is one of the best college i can get through cgpet exam . Whereas it is one of the best college in chhattisgarh state providing the exposure that u can get in a developing state

I am in civil engineering branch . Faculties here are young mostly and some are very supportive. But here comes the flip side of the coin some are very arrogant. I dont want to point out the names here.The head of department of our branch is very nice and help students in every aspect providing mental as well as emotional support whenever needed. The exams are of mediocre level as of every engineering branch.
