Likes

All the facilities are available like Canteen, Hostel and Bus services.
There are very good faculty who are always available to help your.
Very good management of every program and cultural activities.

Dislikes

No sports complex available for students.
No gym for students who want to make their body.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very useful as we get to study and get prepared for the placement. The curriculum prepare us for real world applications by giving us the knowledge of subjects which is going to useful in our future

Fees and Financial Aid

Amity University jharkhand is one of the best college in Jharkhand. The fee structure for B tech Computer science branch of current year are as follows:- 1.87500 is the fee for 1 semester and it will increase 4000 after 1 year . 2.you will have to pay 20000 as security Money. It will be returned to you after the completion of course. 3. There are scholarship of 25% available for students who got above 70 percentage marks in class 12 .

Campus Life

There is Amophoria the fest of our college of 3 days including Dj night and bollywood night . There is sangathan the sports fest of our college every year which include every sports. There are literature society and many other clubs in the college.

Admission

This college is near to my hometown and this college is best in the state and have good placement record. There is extra curricular activities to enhance your talent. The admission process is you must have 60 percent in 12th . I didn't get rejection from any college.

Faculty

1.The faculty to student ratio is 1:10. The faculty to student relationship is very good as they are always ready to help you. 2.Dipra Mitra Sir is one of the best faculty in Amity University jharkhand. He will make you comfortable in his class and let you ask any type of question which you have doubt. 3. There are 2 exams in each semester which include 1 mid sem exam and 1 semester exam . The exams are difficult as you can't use any unfair means to write exam . Some students who doesn't have regular classes get backlog .

BIT Mesra is Musical!!

Placement Experience:

Mechanical branch in terms of number of students placed is quite high but if it is about how many students get elite packages it's less. The average for our branch at our college is 8-9 lakhs but top companies which are into our core space for long are our college partners.

BIT Mesra is humongous!!

Placement Experience:

My plans after degree is to pursue masters or right away get on with my family business as we are already into trading chemicals. However, from the number of students from our stream that apply for jobs through campus, over 80% are placed from campus. Labs to industries that deals in manufacturing of chemicals and exporting the same are the ones where students of our college get the opportunity.

BIT Mesra is Magical!!

Placement Experience:

Highest package from our campus is eye catching as it's 56 lakhs and for chemical branch it was 34 lakhs. HUL, Sun Pharma, public limited labs and various R&D research centres are those that have helped us to get best available jobs in market as the competition is high but BIT Mesra has still managed to place over 80% students last year.

BITS Mesra is Magnificent!!

Placement Experience:

From second semester we are taken for an hour session for special training. It is optional till 4th semester but from 5th semester onwards, it becomes mandatory and we have no choice but to go through that hammer. Finally, from the last year's 1st semester companies starts coming and we can apply for the same and that is how placements are done here.

the placement rate depends on branch.some branches like cse,ese will have a high placement rate and for small branches like mechanical and chemical will have less placements .the highest package is around 60lpa.

Read this before joining BIT Sindri.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities is decent for students. The placement of BIT sindri varies from branch to branch but the core brances like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering has evergreen placements. Among the eligible students around 90 percent students get placed. But in branches like civil and production engineering, its not the same. They have very low placement rate around 20 to 30% of eligible students get placement. For CSE, IT & ECE the placement is highly dependent on the situation of market and it varies early. The students are eligible from 6 the semester onwards for placement . The placement drive starts from August or September and companies visit till students graduate. The top recruiters are TCS with more than 80 students from overall campus , TATA power nearly 20 , LNT, JSW , Vedanta , TATA STEEL, JSL, ADANI, ABG , Shyam steel and For it sector companies like samsung , cognisant, hitachi, TCs, Spyder visited for 2k21 batch. For the batch 2020-2024 among batch size of 710 around 620 offers were made. The highest package is given by samsung which is around 28 LPA , students of CSE, IT, ECE and Electrical are eligible. For IT sector average package is around 6 lakhs. For core sectors companies heightest package is offered by vedanta to Electrical, Mechanical, Mining which is around 14 lakhs average package is around 7 LPA.. Around 75- 80 percent students get placed during campus placement drive. The Wish to crack GATE and join PSU after my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is slightly outdated due but still it isnrelevant due to research oriented branch. The areas they can improve is by adding practical subjects more than theoretical one. Exams are conducted twice every semester with easy to moderately moderate difficulty level.

All things to be considered before taking admission in BIT

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students are eligible for placement the companies visited are google,jindal,TCS, aakash,PWetc.the highest package offered was 25LPA and the average was 5-6LPA.the place percentage was 60-70% because there are students who is preparing for civil services,GATE,etc.My plan was to crack GATE and get placed in one of the PSU's.

BIT Mesra Review in a nutshell

Placement Experience:

After completion of 6th sem students are eligible for placements. All major tech giants you name it like Google, Microsoft,Walmart,Atlassian,Flipkart,Visa,Texas Instruments,Arcesium,Salesforce..... etc do visit the campus for the placement and around there are around 250+ companies visiting. Highest offered was around 51 lakhs and average for CSE is around 21Lakhs. Percentage of students placed is close to 90%.
