Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is in accordance to CBME. The present curriculum emphasizes on learing the main topics that every medical student must learn for their practice in real life. The areas where they could improve is in teaching more on the clinical area. The exam pattern and difficulty is normal

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The hospital itself takes their own students after their MBBS. Altough alot of students prefer PG after completing their mbbs. We can apply as a junior doctor in various institutes and also an medical officer

Fees and Financial Aid

I've scored 517 in neet 2021 with a rank of 70071, i opted for this college in the first place due to the infrastructure and good academic development. I've looked through alot of reviews and i was confident this was the right college for me. This college is situated 4km away from railway station eluru. This college has one of the state's best library with central AC and a separate reading room for UG and PG student. It is situated in a 100acre land area with greener.

Campus Life

3

Fests are conducted only once a year and is usually held in the months of September. There are alot of journals both national and international, books, references, exam preparatory modules. Classes are top notch with fully functional projectors and AC. Sports are given utmost priority. Clubs like music, fine arts, sports, yoga, green clubs and quiz and debate clubs are present.

Admission

I did not apply for any college. The admission process is through NTRUHS counselling process. This requires 10th marklist, intermediate with PCB, neet score card. The college prefers only NEET exam. And the cutoffs is based upon the carergory.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:15. However it is feasible for everyone to approach anyone at any time during the college hours. My favorite faculty os the HOD of ENT, as his way of teaching is excellent I didn't find any faculty who is disliking as each of them has a unique way of teaching. Internal Exams are conducted thrice a year and one main professional exam is conducted once.

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
