Regarding education ,the college can provide you with enough opportunities to get a clear knowledge about the course.Other than the main internal exams we also have slip tests periodically which are also useful.

Class Size: 350Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid yearly fees of 55,000.Transpotation fees of 40,000.Caution fees of 25,000.Hostel fees depends on the number of members per room .Mess fess is 5000.B category seat is of 12,00,000 and C category is of 37,00,000

Campus Life

We have sports meet, culturals and college day every year.Recently different clubs like dance ,music,debate,books and journals, green club. We have different events regularly for different club activities. The technology in class rooms is very good and skills lab also helps with knowledge aquired in playful yet educational way. We have proper sports grounds for various games like basket ball,throw ball,volleyball, cricket,

Admission

I applied for other colleges in the state.It is of close approximity .It is regarded as one of the top private colleges in Andhra pradesh. It has decent patient load in certain departments which is very important for a courseclike MBBS. The admissions are based on NEET exam scores.The cut off varies every year and it also varies based on the reservation avaliable.

We have good faculty to student ratio.Faculty are approachable. We have 3 internals including 1 pre final examintion.They are of moderate level and help in assessment and further planning of studies.The evaluation is appropriate.

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

A Glimpse into Excellence: Review on Andhra Medical College, Vizag

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

About Asram medical college
