What Students Say

Likes

The campus life is the best, with 5 different types of food court including dominos, la pizon, subway etc. There are tons of people from different cultures with whom you can easily interact and it's great!
The faculty are also good, they got PPT's of every topic which they explain in details and gives us assignments on every topic which makes it easy to understand. They also help us at anytime when we go to them with our doubts.
Course is good and to the point. Campus and their amenities are also good.

Dislikes

The fans in the class room are placed between 2 rows which is pretty much useless.
Campus is way to big which makes it a struggle to walk from one building to another.
Personal and professional development could use a bit more help. Only 1 class per week.

Course Curriculum Overview

Hacking. Hacking was the main thing that influenced me to choose this course. Faculty helps us teach how to hack on dummy websites which helps us and prepares us for the the real world. The exam timings are also perfect and well divided which gives us enough time to prepare for our exams.

Internships Opportunities

Different companies like amazon, google tech defense and etc provide internships with stipend. Even parul university itself provide internship with stipend starting from 7000 to 14000 which is handling system and support in their office.

Placement Experience

Students in 2 year are eligible for campus internship which is paid. 3200000 is the highest package recieved this year by a student. 90% students get placement. I personally am planning on doing masters after completing my btech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is 137000. The fees will not be increasing it'll be the same every year. All the batchmates also have the same fees. Financial aid is available for students whose parents have less than 300000 salary per annum.

Campus Life

Over the year every type of festival from every culture and religion is celebrated in parul university. Even famous singers like king came to perform a concert. Also different celebrities like alia bhatt, ranvir sing etc come to parul university from time to time which makes the campus life more intersting. There is projecter in every class which makes the studying more interesting. All types of sports and their facilities with ground is available from basketball to football to cricked and indoor sports. A gym and swimming pool is also there. Library which have all the books from novels to study guide is there. Student clubs like cultural management club is great for people who like to plan and manage events in university in parul.

Admission

I didnt apply to any other university because parul university is the best in my city. It also has NACA++. I didnt apply to any other university. 55% is the cuttoff for the admission. The people there are really helpfull and help you with your admissions.

Faculty

Faculty to student relationship is great. Faculty's are friendly with students and they are ready to help us with our doubts at any time. The tech-defense faculty are good. There is mid semester, end semester and weekly exams in 1 semester. Couse curriculum is relevant.

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and the placements cell starts preparing us earlier through workshops, mock interviews and resume sessions. A good range of companies visit the campus, including consulting firms, it companies, finance and analytics roles, start-ups and well-known multinational organisations. The number of offers varies each year, but most visiting companies recruit for roles like business analysts, software developers, marketing associates, finance trainees and operations roles.

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

It's really very helpful for new students to choose the college.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

The college providess oncampus placements and has various connections and ties with various companies like Google amazon and many other. Last year total of 75% students got placed with average of 11lpa package and highest package was 60 lpa. Also this college helps you get internship opportunities right from 2nd year which is very good.

Campus placement is available in our college Most of students get plavement it means 80% to 85% students get placement After 3 year student get internship and then student get placement . Lot of companies come for placement like Tata, Reliance etc... Our college placement ratio is Lowest placement package is around 2 Lakh per year average placement package is around 3-4 Lakh per year And Highest placement package is around 6-7 Lakh per year.

What it feels to be a Parulite

After completing my 12th Boards I applied to a bunch of colleges and gave various exams to get a seat. I took the JEE exam as I wanted to go to IIT to pursue the same degree that I do now but unfortunately, I couldn't as I didn't get enough score to be selected for the advanced JEE exam. The other government colleges that I had applied to had a certain quota reserved for students from different regions and since I had to shift to a new city altogether that proved to be a hurdle. One such college that I had previously applied to before Parul University was the Maharaja Sayajirao College in Vadodara. I chose Parul University because I had good things about it and their placement scheme was well-known among people so I opted for this college. The admission process is pretty simple. They brief you about the fee structure for the course that you want to take on your first visit and give you a campus tour.
