Ground Realities

I choose the course beacuse i always had loved being around computers and technologies..and this was one of the most important reason of choosing BCA and i was searching for a good college in dehradun and one of my relatives suggested me of graphic era and i had heard of the college before and surely it is one of the top institutions in dehradun.and talking about the course curriculum is that it is average like any other colleges and this is what i personally feels.

Students become eligible for the placements in 3rd year of their course. U must not have any backlogs before sitting in placements if you have any backlog u will not ve able to sit in the placements The average package in BCA is around 4 lakhs/annum. The college shpws that they are providing placements to most of the students but the reality is first they make a list of students who don't have any backlog and is getting good percentage every semester..all the rest students who even have single backlog didn't get a chance to even sit their And yeah for sure if are not getting campus placement after degree anyone will obviously try in the companies outside.

First of all their are 2 options given by the college to pay your course fee either you can pay the fee per semester or you can pay yearly.the fee deposit per semester of the course is around 60000 rupees after all the discounts including 25 percent special discount for having the domicile of state of the uttarakhand,paying yearly fee is also an good option because when you pay your fee in yearly manner you gets 10 percent extra discount with all other discounts

The campus life in the college is really very goodtheir is a campus festival held every year called grafest many big Bollywood stars and singers perform their for 3 fo 4 days.. The college library is really very good all the course books are available their. The facilities provided in the classrooms are ok sitting space is quite comfortable and then their are cameras and projectors and smart boards in the classes And last but my favourite, sports it is quite good in our college you have all the sports available in the campus and many tournaments are held every week of different sports

As i already told you that one of my relatives suggested me of this college and btw i had already heard of the university as it is kind of famous in uttarakhand because it is said to be the best institution of Uttarakhand.. and i directly came to this college after 12th and i don't went to any other colleges for the admission. Talking on the process of admission in the college,its kind of very simple step u just had to apply on their official website then u will receive a call from their side they will tell you a date to talk about the course u are interested ..

First of all i would like to clear that not all the faculties in the college are skilled and experienced.but leaving all them most of the teachers are very good they have a great knowledge in their fields and a very good teaching experience too. Their are two exams held in a semester in the college one is mid sem and other is the end sem, the mid sem exam syllabus includes only 2 units and the end sem exam syllabus include all the 5 units . Question paper provided to you both the exams is very difficult to solve like if you are not above average in the studies you are going to face lot of problems in getting passed in all the subjects.and marking system is also very hard and their are total of 45 subjects in 4 sems(1st,2nd) year. And you have to pass 23 of them and if u are passing in less subjects than 23 you will surely get an year back and you have to repeat 2nd year again.
