Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology and clinical sciences which providesl strong foundation in medical knowledge. But some areas like modern medical techniques, global health issues and soft skills training can be covered extensively . Overall, the curriculum provide solid foundation.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship can be done after completion of final year. Internship is very hectic. We'll not get our own time and personal space for self care. Stipend is around 25000. Every student who will pass the final year are eligible for internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year : Tution fee 10000 special fee 10500 exam fee 3500 cost of books 25009 mess charges 55000 total 104000. Secon year:tution fee 20000 special fee 500 exam fee 4500 cost of books 35000 mess charges 90000 total 154775 3rd year tution fee 10000 special fee 250 exam fee 4500 cost of books 45000 mess charges 55000 total 114750 Fourth year tution fee 10000 special fee 250 exam fee 5000 cost of books 60000 mess charges 55000 total 130 250. The college does not offer any scholarship on its own.

Campus Life

4

We have only 2 events in the entire year. Vinayaka chavithi and freshers (Freshers only for juniors who just joined the college). We don't have events frequently so we can't participate in any of the extracurricular activities . In the library we don't have that much extensive access to books and journal as per my knowledge. Status of facilities and technological provisions within the college is good!!

Hostel Facilities

4

Sometimes we face water and electricity problems, which will be resolved after 24 hours. It becomes very hard for us those 24 hours. And there are some rules that to be changed in our hostel mess. And mess charges should be modified a lot. Hostel rooms and food are affordable enough. Quality of food is not bad.

Admission

As it was only medical College back then patients from surrounding 4 districts used to come here for treatment as it is tertiary care hospital. And so the patient load is high in our hospital (Government General Hospital, Kirnool), we can learn about the cases and their treatment effectively.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is manageable. They even provide us mentors through mentor mentee programme. A mentor for approximately 30 students. Faculty are approachable and they guide us properly through out the academic year. There will be 3 exams. 2 internals and 1 prefinal then final examination conducted directly by ntruhs. Paper can be sometimes easy or even difficult!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

Great college to Study, Bad College for Enjoying. It will come good as it is still a budding college. Soon, playgrounds will be there and lot of sports from our college will come up. But academically, this is one of the top places to be. You may think it maybe a new college, so it wouldn't be great. But, the academics are top class and you would be happy enough to come here for it.
