I like the environment, surroundings of our college because its very peaceful and the area of our collect is huge
I like the parking areas for 2 wheelers the area are separated for all the parkings and for sports there a lot of opportunities

Specific aspects fo the curriculum that influenced my mine decision to choose eng honours because i like english so it was good for the to choose this course and the improvement in the course curriculum ans teaching methods are well ...

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year by fees we pay around 16000. We dont have tuition classes , we dont have to pay fo4 development fees,lab fees and other compulsory charges...if we dont have sikkim citizenship we have to pay a small amount.

Campus Life

There are two halls for the programme but we have to pay for the programme and self decorate the hall using baloons and talking for library there's a lot of books which helps us in our studies and we can even rent it by submitting id cards

Admission

I applied for SRM college and Burtuk college and my name was out in burtuk college but it was far from my home so i didn't took admission in that college and i was never rejected by a college and talking about college admission you just have to fill a joining form

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is great ...we the students get lot of facilities and teachers are very good and all the faculties are so good that we even dont dislike them and talking about exams we have to 2 sessional exams and 1 main exams and the pass marks is only 30 and after fourth sem we have score 33 and many students fail to clear the exams because of not paying attention in the class

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated, they need to update it. The professors try to accomodate and teach stuff out of the syllabi as per the emerging trends. The difficulty level is average and the exams are easy to score on.

As per the course i had no idea which one was good for me. Nor did i have a seniour who could guide us. We should have atleast a month in collage to decide our course. If it is possible we should be given a month at the start of collage to discuss with the faculty based on our strength to choose the course we want.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always enjoyed English as an subject and later I decided to choose this course . The curriculum I don't know but the teachers are really hardworking and good with lessons making it easy to understand ,there was a teacher she was teaching a very difficult lesson I still remember she made a ppt filled with memes so that we could understand it better , I found that really kind and an opt dedication towards her job . The sessionals are held for 1 hour and the end term for 2 , talking about the difficulty level it depend on the way that u have prepared it .

In our university we have per semester 3 exams For eg. In 1 semester which means in 6 months we have 3 exams . Term 1 contains of 25 marks which will be written , term 2 contains 25 marks which can be written or your HOD might ask for assignments and the last paper is 50 . The passing criteria is 33

my college is best

-Colleges I applied for : SMIT: B.Sc Chemistry, SMIMS: B.Sc MLT, Cardiovascular Tech. I choose this college because I only need a B.Sc degree for my further decision of giving competitive exams, hence did not prefer to spend on fancy degrees -I got accepted into all the colleges I applied for( not bragging,it's easy) -You apply online after finishing your 12th, bare minimum of 60% is required on your main subject (depends on your course).
