Life of an Ambi-vert in Ballari institute of Technology and Management

AI&ML is a and advances generation branch hence i choosed it thinking of the career opportunities in the near future.But the curriculum isnt satisfactory as i personally beleive that hands-on classes would be better for such fiels but i we have most of the curricullum in theory classes.And coming to frequency and timings of exams,every internal is conducted with a gap of 1 month after the previous one. Internal assessments are generally easy.

I have joined Ballari institute of technology and management through kcet which got me into the branch of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through 2BG reservation.The academic fee i paid i.e kcet fee was 91,890 rs and extra 15,000rs as skill lab fee which is to be paid compulsorily.iam currently in my 4th sem and i have paid the same amount for both the years.The fee of my batchmates of other categories who have joined through kcet is same although i do not have knowledge of fee structure for SC ST Category.My college doesnt offer any scholarship but yes for my category i got SSP scholarsip of 20,000 rs this year.1st year i got no scholarship eventhough i applied for both NSP & SSP.

Coming to Campus life..Bitm conducts a yearly fest which is celebrated extravagantly it i is called as EXPLORIKA ,it is generally conducted int he month of May/June,Other than that many events,fest will be going on within the departments.Many clubs are also running which have their own fests aswell.The library of BITM is really vast and has all kindsof books ranging from studies to fiction to magazines etc.We also have a physical activity period where we are allowed to play various sports like volleyball, throwball, basketball, hockey ,cricket etc,alll the equipments are available in the sports room within the campus.

i had applied for BIET,Davangere,Reva universty,Presidency university,Acharya institutes,Alliance university etc..But since i had a ranking of 50000k in kcet i couldnt qualify for the seats in the above colleges..even in my college i had applied for cse but i didnt get it because of cutoff but i got the aiml branch whose cutoff was little less as it was a new branch.

Faculty:Student ratio is less for newly introduced branches and hence faculties of other branches also teach us.Every faculty forms a unique bond with us where we are allowed to ask for any help even if they dont teacha subject to us.My favorite sir is thouseef sir ,because the way he explains the basic concept makes me remember them for a longer period of time.There is no suc faculty that i do not like because all of them are very sincere to their work and offer great guidance.Coming to exams, every semester we will be having 3 internal assessments and 2 lab internal exams and then semester-end exam.very less number of students fail to clear exam..most of my classmates have a cgpa of above 7 without any backlogs
