Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Yes, the course is good it will help in the future also for business purposes and the exams are well defined and given time to study and research about everything. The timing of the exam is given before 1 month so we should have the knowledge and get time to study.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am Krishna Agarwal from Odisha Jajpur Road and I am currently Studing in Cuttack to complete my graduation. I am currently doing BCom from Ravenshaw University and the classes have already been started. The fee for the course is 2,40000 rupees for 3 years and I am currently staying outside. I have taken rent home for 3 years and the rent is 2200 rupees per month. In admission time I paid 2500 rupees for the application form then I got selected for the course. Apparently, for the scholarship, there is a website. On that website, if you have scored more than 85 percent in class 12 then you Will get a scholarship of 10000 Rupees but I haven't gotten it yet. Overall my expenses for 3 years will be up to 6 lakh rupees.

Campus Life

4.5

Yeah, the Campus is very big I have not visited inside the building but there are many buildings and there are many departments that have separate buildings that's what I love about it, you don't have to go everyplace to get ever you can find whatever you want. The library is good with all the books are available.

Admission

I specifically chose this college because this is the best college not only in Cuttack but also in Odisha and the main reason is also my home is not far away. The cut-off for the exam was 89 percent of class 12 when I came to this university.

Faculty

5

The relationship between teachers and students are very good they will always help you and the total exams are 6 in every 6 months there is one exam. The marks are 100 each subject and 20 marks are for practical exam will be conducted. The attendance is also there. 75 percent is compulsory attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of B.Com under Sambalpur University covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Management and Taxation which are essential for future studies and careers in finance or commerce. The structure is simple to follow and helps students build a good base in theory. Semester exams are conducted on time and the difficulty level is moderate. A student who consistently studies can score well without extreme pressure. However, there is a lack of practical exposure such as industry visits, internships or real-world business case studies. Also, subjects related to modern digital business trends like data analytics, advanced Excel, and GST practicals should be included to make students more job-ready. Overall, the curriculum is relevant but needs more updates to match the current professional requirements

Course Curriculum Overview:

This B.Com curriculum helps every basic individual how to manage money and also provides a path towards finance literacy. The subjects that B.Com has are so designed that the students get most benefit out of it and have experience how the things work in real world. Exams are conducted on timely basis and the exam papers are not too easy but medium and sometimes difficult. There is no default by any staff during exams .

Remarks:

The college is best in comparision to other colleges around the district. If the college can do something towards the campus placements and internships for the graduation students that would be great.
