About karunya university

The reason I choosed this university as well as this course is to have a degree. After joining this university only my goal changed. That's only because of the faculties. When you feels like a subject is difficult then try to learn that subject by writing down until you understands the topic.

The companies and roles offered intership from the college are infosys with a package of 4 lakhs per Annum. Vipro with a package of 5 lakhs per annum. Teachnook Bangalore with a package of 6+3 lakhs per annum. Etc.

From 5th semester students and eligible for the campus placements. And the placement are obviously based on the performance of the students in the past few semesters. It's always better to find an intership on our own.

One time scholarship of ?10,000 at the beginning of the college journey. The overall fees structure is ?300,000. And it's paid in 2 times. Like for each semester ?150,000, including the hostel and mess fees. Tuition fees per semester is ?99,999. Hostel fees is ?15,000 Mess fees is ?35,000. First year the mess fees was ?25,000. Now for the second year it increased.

The major events are only 2 in a year. One is the megaplay of the karunya, which is held on the monthnof December and a technical event called mindkarft, which is held usually on February. Only a few can participate in these 2 events. And rest of the students and faculty has to watch the event.

The rooms and bathrooms are near and clean. Always there will be people for cleaning the bathrooms regularly. The meal quality is actually based on the mood of the contract team. There will be different types of mess. Kerala, south,north,Andra,NRi.etc. I opted for kerala mess . But the food they delivered have no similarity with the kerala food. The hostel and mess fees are very affordable. Only local students have the permission to be a days scholar. All the others have to stay in the hostel. There's no facility available for a rented rooms or PG.

I chose this college because I had a year break while I was preparing for the neet. After that I was planning for an design institution and the age limit was over. So I just want a degree. So i chosed this course which seems easy to study and was a kind of interested field of mine. That's the main reason I choosed this college and later on my goal changed and now I have a goal to achieve and I'm preparing myself for that.

The faculties are well trained and best facilities. They are more experienced and it's a great opportunity to work or to learn with them. Most of the faculties are showing a friendly spirit towards the students. They care and supports the students as their own child. These the positive side about the faculties but there are few of them having a worst attitude towards the students. The best faculty I like in karunya Institute of technology and sciences in Dr. Prasanth kothoor. He's my mentor as well. I like him, his character the attitude towards the students are good. We have 4 level of exam during a semester. First internal exam is an MCQ type exam. Second one is a written and the third one is a project based test or exam. And the final one is the end semester exam, all the e are important but the end semester exam is more important to clear the semester. 10-15% of students fails in each semester, that's only upto those students who miss the classes and bunks the classes.

There was no GD or interview questions or test patterns for the admission process. It was easy. The only thing was to fill the application online. And also it was possible to complete all the procedures through online as well offline. There's no hard criteria to join the karunya university.
