Memorable experience in DCE

Overall the college management was good, helpful in every aspect.

In the first year, we learn about all the subjects. And from the second year, we learn, particularly about our chosen stream. There are 2 sessional exams of marks both and then 1 pre-university examination is held before the final examination. So it is very helpful.

The placement of our college is quite good. Around 80% of students got placed with an average package. The highest salary offered was 10 lacs and minimum salary offered was 2.7 lacs. Many companies visited in our campus including Wipro HR services, Capgemini, Kelton, Byju, Tech Craft, Oyo, TFT, TCS Thought to binary, etc. The roles offered to students was software testing and development, sales and marketing, data analyst, analyst, etc. Almost 6--7-% students got an internship from our college. The highest stipend offered to us was 25 k and the lowest stipend was around 5 k. There is a placement cell which is directed by trainee and placement officers. The cell arranges various workshops and training to guide and groom to students to choose the right career ahead.

There are many events including placement drives, workshops, cultural festivals, etc. Many technical fests are arranged in order to encourage the students. Farewells are arranged to make students feel happy. Women's day is celebrated in our college. Sports week are there individually for boys and girls among every batch.

For our batch, the tuition fee including the development charges is as mentioned:- 1) Each odd semester costs nearly Rs. 53,500 and, 2) Each even semester costs nearly Rs. 45,000 Therefore summing up to Rs. 98,500 annually. For each University Examinations separately for odd semester and even semester, the fee is Rs. 1,000 for each semester. For Transportation (i.e. to avail the Bus Service), the fee structure is maximum Rs. 17,000-18,000 per semester.

I have not opted for any scholarship or education loans, but the college provides scholarship for bright students who have performed well in their 12th class.

To start with the library, is huge and spacious and fully air-conditioned. It is equipped with more than 3000 books. The college has many laboratories including computer science, electronics, electrical, robotics, welding, and forging, etc. It has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with LCD projectors. The canteen provides good and hygienic food and refreshments at an affordable price. The hostel accommodation is provided separately for girls and boys. The college has provision for sports facilities like basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, cricket, etc. It has a provision of medical facilities the staffs and students and the transportation are well provided to the students.

Seniors were always the best guide throughout. They are very interactive and helpful whenever needed. Seeking notes, books or any other sort of help or even query from seniors always helped.

I got to know about this college through one of my uncles. Then I googled about this college and after that, I applied online for the Computer Science and Information Technology. I chose this stream as I found it really interesting as it is a combination of both CSE and It.

The faculty is very good and very helping in every term. They provide us with live examples to explain the particular content. They are always available for us to help. Many industrial visits are arranged in order to provide more practical knowledge. Summer training in technical terms is arranged in order to provide additional information.
