Course Curriculum Overview

The GGDSD chandiagarh curriculam is highly relevent and comprehensive,with its foccus on practical skills and emerging trends being key reasons for my choise .It effectively prepares students for real- world challanges and further studies improvement could include more hand in projects and updates teaching methods .Exams are frequent and demanding ,reflecting real -world scenerios but coluld benifit from a more schedule .

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

at GGDSD college chandigarh,the fee structure vary by course and category.The annual fees typically include: tution Fee: Around 52,000-58,000 varying by year, for BCA along with registration fees 1100.Fee structue for sc/st are different. some scolarships offered are :merit -based :award for outstanding academic performance. need-based scolarship:for student demonstarating financial need. Government-scholarships:include post matric scholarship for SC/ST student or other state student. Campus life at GGDSD chandigarh is vibrant .Annual Festivals like yout fest are highlifhts .the library offers wide range of books ,journals and ebooks. Classroom are well equiped with Airconditioning in IT blocks and modern tech.Sports club ,Roadtract,Enactus are some of the club working in the campus.

Admission

I chose GGDSD college over other due to its strong its reputation and rank on naac which is A++ .I applied to Chandigarh grouo of college but chose GGDSD for it comprihensive and supportive faculty . I din't face any problem in any admission procedure cause my percentage was 90 in 12 which help me to clear the cutoffs and clear eligibility criteria.

Faculty

The facaluty to student ratio is strong,ensuring personalised attention and approachable staff facalty.I appriciated include dr poja mohan and dr. Naveen Dalal for there clear supprot and explaination. but one of the teaching staff had been seen bussy in and very rarely in class. Exam are rigorious ,with 75% attendence. The curriculam is relevent and well structured

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant but as NEP'20 introduced in this year have made impact in our course.Like we don't want to study about environmental science that has to be elective. There are 8 subject in first semester makes us difficult to study .

Placement Experience:

In the last semester students are eligible for campus placement and college doesn't provide 100% placement. According to the students the highest packages students have received is 12lakh per annum. Average packages are 3-4 lakh per annum. To sit in placement offers a student should be having 75% of attendence and also 7.5 CGPA in overall semesters.

Best college life

Addmission process: We have to apply through Dhe Chandigarh website,then they conduct number of counselling (mostly 2 )but they will conduct more and more counselling until all the seats get filled. Counselling process depends upon merit base system,there us too much reservation for the chandigarh students and for outside students there are only 15% seat available along reservation and fir general outside these number goes more below.
