Remarks

College and staff was nice and good but some of the students are very rude .They do ragging in college otherwise its good college after Loyola college.

Entrance Preview

I had no other option . I wanted to studied in Loyola but didn't get admission so chossen dg vaisnav and selected b.com colleges .

Internships Opportunities

I didn't get internship because of some issues.

Placement Experience

Didn't get any placement because at that time my dad was expired so didn't able to attend placement and job after that I had other option like join other courses to go further option .

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

Best women's college in the heart of Chennai

Placement Experience:

Placements were decent enough. McKinsey, TCS, HCL were one of the top companies. We also had Justdial and few banks that came for recruitment. Average package was around 2.5 lpa. Highest package was by McKinsey - 3 lpa My plans were to pursue MBA, so I didn't apply for placements. McKinsey offered business presentation specialist roles. Just Dial and banks offered customer support roles. 7/10 were placed.
