Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

We listened that the college was known for teaching courses so I took interest to get admission in that college. Curriculum of that university is also good and the process of taking exam is also good. By learning in that college i feel confident to teach in class perfectly so thats the profit in teaching that college .exams were arranged in 6 months there were 4 semester so we prepare for the examination in 6 months. The exam was not ao hard but to easy to moderate level .maximum students qualified in that exam very few students git fail. But there is sime ither reasons not tge difficulty of paper.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have completed my teaching diploma in B. Ed,in mgkvp university affiliated College BITE. B. Ed is 2 year course which is semester wise completed. In our college, both years they took a fee. In first year they took 52000 and the admission form fee which is 3000 also added, so the total fee of first year is 55000. they took 35000 rs in which 3000 was included. They gave us practical material. In our college we had to give a practical fee in all four semesters, which was 1500 .there was a scholarship in both years. The first year we got a 33000 scholarship for General categories, and the other sc and st's got 52000, and in the second year they (other categories) got 30000. they also got fee concessions in both years, but we didn't get fee concessions. For them there was a concession in fee, but for us there wasn't. They were taking charges for attendance. If we have not completed 60 percent attendance, they took a fee for that. My batchmates who were in other categories like obc or sc, st.

Campus Life

3.5

In our college every function celebrated .starting from fresher party to farewell party. 15 august the independennce day ,saraswati puja, guru purnima, diwali, every festival celebrated in our college. The sports and extracurricular activities was tio good in our college. Teachers get attention on that.

Admission

I didnot applied in any other colleges i heard that the particular college is best for teaching aspirant so i choosed this college and i got. The admission process of my colleage is rank based. Cutoffs for this exam was different for different categories. The admission process of this course was intrance based.

Faculty

2

In our college there was 50:1 ratio followed .The student and faculty relationship was so good and approachable. Everyone in my college were in good relationship. The faculties was always available for students. The faculties of yoga i liked most the teacher of yoga is so humble and hard working she was motivated us to do better for our health which is so necessary. The sports teacher was also good. He was helpful to us in sports. The faculty of teaching methodology is good. She taught us very good, she gave us task to teach in class practically so that we did not hesitate in teaching so her trying get colours and we confident in teaching. There was four semester in our 2 year course so 4 times exam conducted by university. In which four papers conducted. Paper level was easy to moderate not so hard. Maximum students get passed in that exam 2 or 3 percent student failed. The reason of their failure was not attending classes and sometimes they didn't present in exam hall.

Placement Experience:

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

I'd rate BA Hons English curriculum at BHU 4.5/5. Strengths: comprehensive literature coverage, language skills development, and critical thinking. Weaknesses: limited focus on contemporary literature and digital humanities. Prepares well for academics, writing, and teaching careers.

The sociology course teaches me the norms of our society and family we live in. This course will provide a vast knowledge about the society and culture and this made me to choose this course. The time given is enough to complete the course and to understand it . The exams are conducted after every six months so the difficulty level is moderate.

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Nov 15, 2024(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.
