Likes
- I like college infrastructure and greenery, the camus is very much clean and you get a stundent store under campus from where you can get almost all faily needs and stationary.
- The college labs are really good you.. as a cse student i can say there are computers..with very good specifications.
- The teachers are good.. almost many professors has done phd in their subjects.
Dislikes
- In the first year you will not be allowed to join any club officialally except NCC,NSS and Clicks photography club.
- For cs students there are not internship opportunities till now but if you are in a non software branch you will get intership opportunity... but college will provide noc letter if you get off campus internships.
- In first year you will not allowed to interact with seniors there are different timings of college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is good... the subjects we learn in every semester it is useful in real world... but yes i will say that some teachers teach some subjects in a very theory manner. There are many subjects which is gate oriented like theory of computation and all. But despite of all that i can say yes till now there are such subjects which is absolutely relevant for my domain like dsa, c language, python, web dev., oops with java, ml and all.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements, there are many companies come to our college like tcs, accenture, cognizant, tech mahindra etc. companies come to our college with different range of packages. The average packange of our college is 4 lakh per annum, the highest package of 22 lakh per annum goes in 2022 by google one student cracked it. About 80% students got placed in our college and yes there will be some criteria to become eligible for placement, you should maintain a cpi above 8 or minimum 8 so that differenct companies has different limit.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is around 80000, at first semester you will charge max.. including admission fees and all.. around 43 thousands but from second semester it will decrease.. like in second semester you have to pay 39000... no other extra charges are there... and yes when you appear for your first end semester paper at first semester at that tiime you have register on university so that time time you have to pay between 6000 to 7000.
Campus Life
The annual fest in our college is named as OJAS and there are many fests and events in the college organized by different clubs. There are many different types of clubs you can join like entrepreneurship, dancing, singing, Gdsc by google etc. In college there is central library which has a range of books.. there are thousands of book available for students and at a time you can issue 5 books for a month. For sports there is gym, badminton court, table tennis court and cricket and football ground and basketball court as well. The clubs were fully run by students.
Admission
I choose this college because i live in Chattisgarh and i cannot afford some of the private colleges which have very high fees, and it is the private college in Chattisgarh after nit raipur and iit bhilai. I scored rank of 549 in CGPET exam for technical institutes.. i have option to choose state government college known as GEC but for cse branch there are no such advanced labs. And in comparison with any other colleges in chattisgarh it is the old college and have the best facilities and facilities.
Faculty
The college factulties are very good... many of them are friendly to students and ready to guide students, most of the senior faculties have done their phd's and all are experienced as well.. and about exams... i each and every semesters there will be 2 ct's and and final end semester. In each and every subjects there are 5 units and in exams each unit holds 20 marks.. so in first there will be 2 units and it is of 40 marks and in 2nd ct it contains 3 units qhich is of 60 marks.. and in end semester paper all units will come and it is of 100 marks.
