Course Curriculum Overview
Since, i have graduated in Medical laboratory technology, i thought to opt for further studies which i will able to work not only in the lab but also as a teacher. The exams are conducted regularly and the exams are not that difficult.
Internships Opportunities
There is a campus placements where the various companies will visit the university and select the students with good academics. Some of our seniors got selected at OIL and even the seniors of my department got selected as assistant professor s.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the Kaziranga University, the admission fee is 20000, registration fee is 10000 which also included for the uniform, hostel fee is 38,000 per semester and tuition fee is 30000 per semester. But the fee structure is different according to departments. They also provide loan for students who have financial problem.
Campus Life
There is a freshers meet program, induction programs for each department for the newly admitted students. There is also department programs, culture programs and the karyonix which is a quite grand program. They offered football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, even NCC and other extra curriculum.
Hostel Facilities
There are different seater room and also room with ac and the hostel fees are according to the rooms for eg mine is 4 seater, so the fee is 38000 per semester. The meal they give is average. They give chicken curry and fry fish curry once a week.
Admission
I have applied to Assam Downtown University but there was no seats. The Assam Kaziranga University provides various opportunities like sending the students for field visit, to hospital for explore more, to research Center. The admission process is easy. They give a counsellor who will guide till the end of the admission.
Faculty
For my department, the student ratio is 16 and the faculty is about 15. But for the bachelor's, there are more than 50 students. The interaction between teachers and students is quite good and friendly. But some teachers is quite awkward to approach. There are four exams each semester for master but the no. Of exams depend on the number of semester they are going to study. In between there will be two sessional class test.
