College management takes great care of facilities that are provided are used by the students and are kept well in condition. Anti-Ragging Policy makes it easier for the freshers to accommodate in the new environment.

The curriculum is divided into four sections as per the four semesters in an accurate manner that helps build the base for English Literature for those who are not from that background. Each semester includes a Non-Teaching Credit Course in which one has to do intensive research on topics of one's interests.

The placement drive is extensive and we are offered various opportunities to grab a job with really good packages. Jobs offered are that of editor, content writer and teaching profile.

Each department has its own events in the major event called Amity Youth Fest. It is a cultural event. Another major event is Sangathan which is sports based competition between all the departments. Apart from that, some theatrical, debates and creative activities are organized every Thursday within the department.

No, I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan. I did not avail any education loan or scholarship.

MA English has very few or to say not even 10% of females in a class. My class had 63 girls and three boys. BUt the campus ratio is very well maintained. It seems that there is an equal number of males and females. Debating, sports competitions and cultural competitions were all healthy, well entertained and fairly judged programs.

Many senior students are successfully placed in reputed companies and industries as content developers, content writers, editors, teachers and lecturers in the education sector.

Admissions for the college start from early April and continue till early June, depending on the availability of seats. One needs to fill an Application form worth INR 1100 online at amity.edu. There are approx. 100- 120 seats available for the postgraduate program.

The faculty of the English Department at Amity (AIESR) is co-operative, friendly, disciplined and help their students in all ways possible. It is not just academics that they help us with, but become a part of our personal lives, guide us as to how to pursue the career of our choice.
