Entrance Preview
I took CET and i got a score of around 20000 and opted to be a software engineer, and wanted to do something in engineering field. And i got seat in Ghousia college for computer science branch and did my 4yrs BE there.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was very good, in 1st sem only chemistry subjects were. Where as in second sem only physics subjects were there, and M1 and M2 was nice to learn and was very helpful. In 3rd sem electives started and 4th sem as well. In 5th and 6th sem mini projects started and in 7th and 8th sem main project .
Internships Opportunities
There was no internships provided .
Placement Experience
There was placements offered from different companies and i had never placed in any of the company, there was lot of support but i didnt used it to an extent.
College Events
Every year there was an college day. Where i used to organize and help authorities and actively participated in each and every events, for the college day out chairman used to come from Dubai and that was a very beautiful moment for all of us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was very high as mine was a paid COMED-K seat, where 4 lakhs was the total expense, i took around 3 lakhs loan and repaid back recently.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes it was there but i have not taken that and it was a very good amount but i coudnt opt or that as well.
Campus Life
College life the most memorable phase in everyones life. Hanging out with friends in canteen, bunking classes and going for movies, assignments, labs, proxies, Xerox centers, those college affairs and breakups and much more. All these events when I look back make me nostalgic.
Hostel Facilities
There were around 4 hostels which were well maintained and good food was provided and all northies were very helpful and pantry was very good.
Exam Structure
It was a good team structure and there were 8 subjects in each sem, and in 7th and 8th sem there were 2 projects with lectures to be presented with marks for them as well.
Faculty
Faculty was very good and since my college was a muslim minority college all faculties were Muslims but all were very helpful.My HOD was a down to earth guy he helped in all the aspects of our college life.
