The dissection hall is no less than a king's courtroom.
The campus is full of nature with trees around.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is being fixed by the ntr university of health sciences. Aa known, is a renown university with great quality standards in syllabus and question papers. Well be having internal exams frequently to assess ourselves.

Internships Opportunities

We ought to do a 365 days period internship in the hospital in all departments which includes all with Medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology as majors. It is a rotatory internship where everything is taught hands on.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I joined, I paid 80000. Afterwards every year it'll be 55000. The university fees are 10000 and the other fees which include stipend, caution deposit, library fee, sports fee, etc totals upto 55000. But now the fee is reduced to 20000 per year excluding the joining fee.

Campus Life

Every year we'll be having sports and cultural events. They are conducted frequently to get refreshed from the hectic study. It includes painting, dancing, singing, photography, making reels... what not everything.

Admission

Admission is through counseling which is done by the ntr university of health sciences basing on the score in the NEET examination. It occurs in 3 rounds. The cutoff varies yearly basing on the difficulty of paper and the number of seats present.

The teaching is excellent. Well experienced faculty. Good hands on. They'll provide all the knowledge of you are enthusiastic. There's simulation lab for almost everything. You'll be taught about empathy in the first place.

Our college - AMC

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

A Glimpse into Excellence: Review on Andhra Medical College, Vizag

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

Remarks:

Great college to Study, Bad College for Enjoying. It will come good as it is still a budding college. Soon, playgrounds will be there and lot of sports from our college will come up. But academically, this is one of the top places to be. You may think it maybe a new college, so it wouldn't be great.
