Likes
- Our college involves a department named as CDC Which provides students with soft skill, Technical and aptitude trainings which helped alot for the placement and there were classes apart from the normal subjective classes weekly for the CDC training .
- Canteen was quite good and affordable as compared to other colleges of Indore and also there was yearly a fest is organised which helps students to relax and these helps in many ways .
- Faculties were good and supportive and always there to help there students when needed and classrooms and lab facilities is also good
Dislikes
- The one thing i disliked the most was that even if you don't have anything thing like lecture to attend you can't go to home that's something which waste students precious time so that should be changed
- There was no sports period even weekly so it should be there for the students
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum involves alot of subjects which a student may not be needed to learn and also if we take average there are 4 subject each semester so it may become hectic for some of the students. One thing which I liked is that most of the subjects are relevant to the field so thats a good thing but there should be change in the teaching methods and it should be more of a practical based learning.
Internships Opportunities
The companies that provides internship were tech Mahindra, impetus, gamma stack with a stipend with average of 15000 and that's not all they give the full time offer after the completion of the internship and roles offered are as follows frontend developer, backend developer, quality assurance engineer and many more and projects I worked on was a algorithm visualizer
Placement Experience
As of my batch there was so many opportunities and students eligible for the placement in the 7th semester. companies visited our college are consultadd, gamma stack, yash technologies, impetus, cis, genesis, carwale, metafic, tech Mahindra and many more and the highest package offered oncampus placement was 9 lakh and average package was around 3.5 lakh and almost 70% of students was placed in my batch and I'm doing job after the degree .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees I paid yearly was around 90000 which means 45000 per semester which includes 36800 of the tuition fees and caution fees was 1500 for the whole course and transport fees was 12000 per year if you opt for it and for OBC ,ST and SC there where some scholarship every year but I m form general category so i don't know much about it but it was around 20000 per year for the OBC category
Campus Life
The annual festivals was named as ardor which is organised very year and there also some festivals like street baazar are organised very year and that's not all there so many events that use to take place every year . And talking about range and accessibility of books and journals students can get the issue whenever they want and can have 3 books at the same time . There are so many clubs in our college and there is also a sports festival organised every year by the college
Admission
The admission process at acropolis Institute of technology and research is quite smooth and you need to attend the counselling to get the admission and the cutoff is different depending on the branches and for a average student I don't think its very difficult to get admission in acropolis Institute of technology and research.
Faculty
Faculties in our college are good and supportive they also explain explains all the concepts very well and in a detailed manner but I think the faculty -to-student ratio is something which should be changed as there are around 70 student in a single class so it becomes very difficult for a faculty to coordinate with all of them so it should be decreased to around 30-40 and I think there should be more practical based learning for the students as at the end of it all they need is to follow a practical approach in future so that should be added .
