What Students Say

Likes

The only positive thing that I like is they r generous when giving marks
There is no unnecessary fine imposed on the students
The campus is not huge but it's quite peaceful and far from any sort of disturbance

Dislikes

There is no placement opportunities
Management do not have any idea of how the college neeps to run
The water facility and the teachers are pathetic

Course Curriculum Overview

The cource curriculum is outdated and do not hold any relevence when it comes to getting hired as an employee there is not extra things bring thought that would help a student thrive for the daily bread

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 930660 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees that I pay is 93,060 rupees for the people that join through cet exam, and management fee is 1,50,000 rs there are no additional charges like caution fees, registration fees, admission fees etc . For snq quota it is 23,000 per annum, there r two kinds of scholarships that are available for the students and they are SSP for every category student and NSP scholarship for OBC both the scholarship are eligible.

Admission

Eligibility for the course is u need to pass the 12th exam in science stream in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics , application forms can be found in the college itself and there is no such fixed date for the admission process the cutoff for the cource depends on the category of the student roughly we can say the cutoff is somewhat around 100000.

Faculty

Faculties are mostly freshers with no experience they posses M.Tech or M.Sc degree , they do not have any passion for teaching just come to the college for the sake of salary and they have very huge ego more bigger than those in the IiT colleges . They do not have any knowledge regarding how the corporate industry work , no experienced faculty at all

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Positive remark is that it is in Mysore and New college in Mysuru.Located near big baniyan tree which is quite famous. Negative remark is that one more college of engineering just to make bucks and no new ideas, dreams, passion.Management of this college is worst and facilities are poor compared to other engineering colleges.Can't be compared with other contemporary colleges regarding to academic and other extra curricular activities....Read More
