Course Curriculum Overview

I recently join computer science and engineering in GU and in CSE all the faculties are very good they know how to treat students how to help students with there problems during the term and they teach soo well that everyone can understand easily

As there is a committee for internship students dont have to worry about there internship college itself provide internship for there students so they dont have to search for internship and for stipen

In GU there is a special committee for internship and placement for the students and they treat us soo well and there minimum package is around 4 to 5 lakhs and higher package is 12 to 13 lakhs so average package is also good around 7 to 8 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

There yearly fees are 75000 and asides that they provide scholarship so that everyone can afford that much fees after completing 1 or 2 year of studying they also provide stipen internship and jobs for earning and knowledge of the students

Campus Life

GU campus is very good and big there is a open air theater and also a mp theater where so many events and function are done and there is a canteen in the campus and they have arranged a seating in the campus for students to spend time with there friends during break time

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel inside the campus bt they provide hostel outside the campus and there hostel are very good they provide breakfast lunch dinner tea coffee laundry room service and many more mainly there hostels are clean

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

There is no entrances exam its all depends on your marks and percentage if your percentage is high they also provide scholarship for students to study free of cost and admission process is also very simple

The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. The Average collage life

Placement Experience:

this is tier 3 collage of surat so don't expect higer placements and big mnc come for the placements, in my placements they commited over 25+ local companies come from surat but actually only 15 has come and only 20 students got placement accross over 200 students(computer + IT). and the average placement is 2.5 lakh oper year. and most of the companies are red flag because they want students to sign 1-2 year bond with very low salary. then lets about training for placement, its ZERO big ZERO they dont provided the placement training, i have seen 90 students from 120 gets failed in apptitude round. they have not provided training for cracking the coding interview only those students are placed who have done preparation by it self even 9+ CGPA students didn't get placement.

Course is actually pretty nice . Subjects are tought according to the needs but the problem is about they do not update course according to the needs like `right now everyone should know how to use AI tools well , these small thing should also include in it. Apart from technical subjects they also have communication , ethics , personality developemt as a subject too but with less credits.

Placement is there and around 92-95% students get placed every year which is quite good in current economy. Highest package offered was 12LPA which is decent for aa college openend less than a decade ago. Average package is around 6LPA to 7LPA. There is no restrictions in semester in which a student can apply for placement but usually 3rd and 4th year students are the one applying. My plan after degree is higher studies in colleges like Monash etc

From fourth year you will be eligible for placements. Adani and tcs are top recruiters they offered around 5 to 7 students.
