A Glimpse about CMS

I love English I got passion for it. That's why I chose English. We have a teacher specific content which is about the narratives of humor. I think knowledge about humor and understanding it more than in english really helps for the students u trying to study abroad in future. We have assignments every week and also class tests. The difficulty level the current semester I'm doing is 100-199.

There are a lot of companies who are willing to do interships with this college. I'm not aware about that in details because I'm a first year student here. But from the knowledge which my senior students told me that it's really useful and there are many opportunities with that.

There are campus placement in CMS college. Its really nice and most of the beneficiaries are UG students. PG students also get it. The highest package got from the campus placement was 14.6 lack per annum.

The first year and admission fees was 13840. And we have to pay 5-6k from 2nd year. For those who are opting for hostel the rate is around 6k. They are so many scholarship which is applicable in this college. The names of those scholarship are detailed in the official portal of government and the college itself. They are so many activities from the department itself and in other departments too it helps to communicate well.

There are a lot of cultural program in this college. Both in department level and inter department level. Its really nice to spend time like that. Even though it's just been a month in this college we had 2 department program. One is ethnic day and the other was English Association Day inaugration and cultural programs. Both was blasts and we had a really nice time together

There wasn't any entrance exams. The acceptance rate is not so much. Very limited students get this college. I got selected in cultural quota cuz I'm a state winner of the school youth festival in Kerala. There are reservation for SC/ST, OBC, CSI, And also PD. First step was to register and apply online. Then they called me that I got selected by cultural quota.

I'm a part of the English department in the college. Our Faculties are well United, so we also get some inspiration from them. Teachers really know what they are doing. Well prepared and educated for taking classes. Even though if we have our of syllabus questions. They have answers. And most importantly they make us feel like we are a part of the family.
