It is a very good college with a great green atmosphere.

The greenery of the college is fabulous. It is also known as the Lungs of Kottayam. The projects done by CMS College in academics is very useful for the children. I think the college should make their own syllabus other than the university syllabus so that it will improve the quality of the learners.

CMS College has a very good course curriculum. There is an academic calendar. All the dates of exams are notified and results are published son. There are internal exams and department wise coordinators for those exams. Each exams are conducted with great care and attention. All the exams including the lab exams are moving in a chill manner.

There is a career guidance and placement wing which focuses on the placement and career of the children. They will assist you in framing your career. All the year many companies will come to the college and they will hire many number of students who are bright.

There are college day celebration, arts fest which includes Kalajadha which is a good item. Must watchable one. Sports day is there. Inter department games are there and there are much more. Arts festival of CMS COLLEGE is similar to the university arts fest. It will cross 12 AM amd still there will be crowd.

The college is an aided one. So there is only a little amount of fees. The fee of Aided courses are determined by the government of Kerala and it is much affordable one. There are grants for students belonging to SC/ST /OBC/Lakshyadweep.

There are scholarships by the central government and state government. eGrants are also there. Post Matric scholarship, central sector scholarship and Higher education scholarship are some of the scholarships which are available to the students belonging to general category.

There are two NSS Units in CMS College. Each with 50 members. NSS Unit of CMS College is doing many projects inside and outside the college. NCC UNIT is also there. The Cricket Team of CMS College is pretty Famous. Kerala cricket Team Member Sijomon Joseph is one of the students in CMS College.

There are many Alumnus lile Dr. Kr Narayanan, former president of India, Dr. ECG Sudarshan, Oommen Chandi etc. All the alumnus are proud to say that they are the alumnus of CMS College. CMS College provides an healthy atmosphere to every students to improve their skills in both academics and in extra curricular activities.

This is an autonomous college. You should apply for the admission specially through the college website. Then the college will publish the allotment. According to merit the students will get admission.

All the teachers are very passionate. They love to teach. Therefore the students will get attached to the college very faster. Most of the teachers have a friendly behavior so that we can share all our difficulties to them. There are separate mentors other than warden for students. They can have friendly sessions with the mentors and can chat with them so that it will help you to build up your future.
