Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well, The B.Tech In Printing Technology is the only course because of which my university is famous. My family business is in this field only, so that is why I choose it as my career. The area of improvement for this university is that they have to focus on their teaching faculty and number of classes taken by those teachers and as it is a government university, so I think that the teachers take it very lightly because they don't have to answer their seniors at all. Well, the exams are taken four times a semester, three are minor exams which are one hour exams. We have to give only two of any three minors. And there is a semester exam which is taken at the end of semester. It is a three hour exam. The difficulty of exam is moderate, only not so much difficult. Average student can also score good marks if he/she is study well.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many companies like Amul and Samsung have visited our university and also they had given internships to the students. There is no usually any project to clarify the tasks. only there is a interview, which student have to clear and the university also take extra classes for those interviews and what to speak, and how to reply in the interviews.

Placement Experience

4

Well the placement percentage of our department is 90%-100%. This is because this is the only university that is providing this course, so that is why placements also for my course if I talk about other courses like mechanical, so I have to say that The placements are quite low, and also for the CSE. When two years ago, Samsung came to our university, but there does not provide any job opportunities to students. The highest package of our department is Rs 9 LPA. in the highest package over university is Rs 18 LPA, that is secured by a student outside the campus. The percentage of students in our department that are getting placed is very good, but for the other departments, it is quite low, and the training and placement cell have to do really something about this. well after my BTech, I have decided to do my MBA because I have to go in a business line and MBA would be a good option for doing so.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well the fee structure is so clear that we have have to pay Rs 36,800 at the first semester and then Rs 34,800 for the remaining semesters each. There is no increment in the tuition fees of the semesters. The total amount of fees for four years is Rs 2,80,000, including every charge in my education, you can take it around three lakhs. Well, there is a 100% scholarship SC/ST students on tuition fees. so they don't have to pay any money for their education, and I think there is a Rs 10,000 scholarship for OBC student also, and there is no scholarship for general students. a scholarship is also given to a semester topper for the next semester by the university. Our university provide a part time job for 3 to 4 students of every department, this is usually a part-time Job in each department. University provides Rs 2400 for each month for this Job. There is no any other job for students.

Campus Life

3.5

My experience in the university is so good. It was only decent because there were no festivals for enjoying and relaxing overall only one or two festivals occurred in our university and that is very frustrating because I see my friends in universities of Delhi that there are so many good festivals in their university. The library is the only good thing in this university. There are so many books for your course and also for your life the one thing that dislike is that you have to wait for 30 minutes to issue a book. There is a craze in football in our university, and also they have created a club named as football club and also there are competitions with other universities annually. I wish that our university also fund cricket as it funds football. There is no high-tech facilities in the classroom, just a blackboard, fans and chair and desk. student-run Social groups are very helpful for the students because they provide study material and also organise many different activities.

Admission

To take admission in the B.Tech in this university, you have to clear JEE Mains because the first priority is given to Jee students and them to 12th pass students. The cut-off of my course is quite low because many people does not opt this course because this is a business type course, and for the CSE, you have to score at least 85 percentile in JEE TO SECURE YOUR SEAT IN THIS UNIVERSITY. there are reservations for SC/ST students and OBC students, and also for the students from Haryana only. The exams are taken four times a year, three of them are minors and the remaining one is a exam that is called the semester exam. It is a three hour exam also. During my admission process, I doesn't have to face any difficulty. The staff was very helpful, so I think there is no improvement needed in the Admission Process.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty to student ratio im classes is 1:65 usually but in library and it 1:15, which is really untorelable sometimes, because if we want to issue a book then we have wait for 30-40 minutes. The teachers usually teach us on the blackboard but university had provided us practical classes for almost every subject and the Teachers in these Labs are also very, even better than our theory teachers. Well, usually there is a class of particular subject once in every 2 days, and subject like maths have daily classes
