Dislikes
- Placement for engineering student is quite not upto the mark. Very limited companies come for hiring student and packages were also less.
- The road to college campus is not smooth and safe. You need to take care in rainy season as the campus is 1-2 km far from main highway and road is rough.
- Food mess inside campus is not good. Llimited fast food dishes available and it needs to be modify available space also.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is designed in a very good way that it can cover all the aspects of Mechanical Engineering and you can placed in a good company. Teaching methods are very well setted so that one can learn step by step each topics of all subjects. Tests are not being taken frequently but it doesn't matter as mis semester exams were taken regularly with moderate level toughness.
Internships Opportunities
During my time no company was providing internship. We did a project on Cycling operated RO system in which water can be purified from RO membrane by generating pressure using bicycle. By performing this project i come to know about some part of chemistry also with mechanical field. Today i am working as Field Executive in UF-RO Plant since 3 years at Reliance Industries Limited- Jamnagar.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from last semester for campus placements. Many local companies have been there during my last semester like Kamakshi Flexiprints, Ruby Bus and more. Only 10-15% students were selected in campus with average packages. Highest package is 4 LPA, i was selected at 1.8 LPA. I had plans to work in well name companies like Reliance, TATA or L & T.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are quite high as it is a self finance Institute. Fees hikes happen once in 2-3 years. The total cost including education, exam fees, tution fees and other charges and expenses can reach beyond budget for a middle class student. They provide scholarship but very less amount to all other class students except SC/ST class. I was selected in campus walkin interview but it was small company residing same city with less package as Trainee Supervisor in production department.
Campus Life
There are celebrations of many festivals like Utrayan, Navratri, Holi at the campus. College helps students for any special projects competition occurring at national leve also. They run NGO's for slum childrens also. Classrooms are good some of them having projectors. Library is limited to books required for subject wise studies only.
Admission
12th pass or Diploma in relative field can opt for this course. All application steps are online except fees payment. If any seats remain after online procedure gets completed then you can get admission by directly contacting college administration. You can get good scholarship if you belong to lower caste. Scholarship shopuld be decided on the basis of exam grades.
Faculty
There were 55 students in my class and 8 faculties were there for each subjects. They are well qualified and very knowledgeable. There are very supportive in solving students problems and very kind to students. They taught us new methods and modern way solutions for our problems.
