there are many fields to explore and find ones interest
very helpfull seniors and staff. Great facilities

Dislikes

sometimes can be very competitive for certain pors
some hostels are old hence bad facilites
some proffesors are very strict in terms of grading

The curriculum isnt very relevant as most people go for jobs in different field but if you have an interest in the field it is a great option. It is chill compared to other branches in the college. You can get good grades with not much hardwork

admission is based on jee advance you can get this college and branch if your rank in general category is under 4.5k. You also need to have above 75% or 20%ile to be eligible for this college. obc category students can get this college at around 10k rank

Faculty

The faculty members are great and have multiple research papers published and have great connections with even foreign professors. They encourage research a lot and help students with their doubts regularly

“Golden Days of PICT College Life”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics and telecommunication engineering is best branch. And there is also best teaching of hardware as well as software and also in which attendance is mandatory. They shows how to use the academics with real world applications. By taking hardware practicals. I think no need of improvement but i gives improvement in attendance. Please don't take attendance mandatory.

After semester 6 students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the top companies visited are phonepay, Morgan Stanley, JPMorganchase, Deutsche Bank, cashrich , nomura . The highest package offered is 35 lakhs and average package is 14 lakhs. Till now the placement percentage is 100 percent. My plan is to appear for placements after 6th sem.

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
