My life as a college student

First year had all the basic subjects like physics, chemistry. Real engineering starts from second year. All the subjects are languages based subjects like FDS, OOP CG etc . Exams are not very difficult and we just get enough time to prepare

Internships are also provided for the students from third year. Many students get internship based on their skill. Some of them are paid but some if them are not. Many companies offer internships like infosys,TCS etc

Campus placements are offered from the third year and many well known companies visit the college for placement. Companies like TCS,Infosys technologies,force motors etc visit every year and offer job to the students. Highest package offered is of 34 lakhs but and average package is of 3 lakhs. Many students get the placement. My plans after getting the degree are that I have to work as I come from a middle class family but I also want to complete masters so maybe I will work and study as well.

Fee structure is like the fee is one lakh six thousand, but if you avail any scholarship then you get the benefits of that scholarship, but I took the admission through management quota hence I don't receive any scholarship and have to pay the whole fee. It solely depends upon your caste how much scholarship you will receive.

Festivals are conducted like tech fest which is conducted in the month of October, annual day is conducted in the month of april, freshers party is conducted after first year admissions etc. Facilities provided are good like classrooms, labs,gym, workshop, ground etc. Sports day is held once a year for 5 to 6 days. Many sports competitions are conducted at that time. Also sports equipment and gyn equipment is also provided by the college.

I took CET entrance exam and scored 83.43 percentile. But I belong to open category and didn't get alloted to this college so I had to take the admission through management quota. Eligibility of course is that students have to score above 85 percentile to get the Computer engineering branch and for open category it is 90 percentile in CET. But you can also enroll through jee examination.

Faculty members are well qualified with appropriate degree, but even if you are qualified you should be able to teach too. There are some faculty members who can't speak proper english. And we can't understand their teaching. But some of them are very nice, well qualified, friendly and their teaching is very good too.
