Likes

The faculty is very supportive and provide with detailed teaching.
The education provided is good and syllabus designed is nice too.

Dislikes

There is no or least fest, apart from annual tech fest and other small fests there is nothing like DJ night or concert shows if you are thinking.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is autonomous so the syallabus is designed by the hods with discussion with the faculty to provide maximum knowledge and keep the students up to date with the trending topic in the market. The syllabus is yearly revised and required changes are made.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that visit the campus like Wipro and Infosys. The stipend offered is good but not the best. Though some of our seniors are in the post of research and development officer, others have roles like market intern, quality control officer, application developer, etc.

Placement Experience

There are many companies that visit the campus. There is a campus drive and training is also provided. The placement is given to all except for the package. The average package given is good. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc. visit the campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The college fees is 117000 for the other years for btech while the first year fee is around 160000. Though there was no increament in the fees in the past few years there is no information about the increase in future.

Campus Life

The campus is good and not so big. There are five blocks and each floor is subjected to a department. There are two auditoriums with great facilities provided. There is a library equipped with a good amount of books. The ground is medium in size and there is a small basketball court.

Admission

The admission process was quite simple. As I came from counseling the faculty provided detailed information and helped in every step from form filling to getting proper documentation. The exams are 3 internal sessional and 1 external theory while there is one internal and one external practical in one semester.

Faculty

Faculty are enough in number and never in once had been a situation where there is no faculty for a subject. The faculties are highly educated and provide great mentorship not only in studies but also in preparation for futures. Most faculty use smartboard and do not really read from ppt but some faculty are there who only reads the ppt. Teachers are very approachable and the class is usually interactive.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, you are eligible for college placements they have good placement records companies like Byjus, Hp, IBM, Infosys, Indian Army, etc. come to college for placements. The highest goes to 31 lakhs and the average goes to 4 to 5 lakhs. So almost 80 to 90 percent of students get placed.

The records placement cell is impressive because they organize useful and up-to-date seminars from time to time. Therefore the placement record is one of the best in Greater Noida. Last year was 98% placement. Placements start from the 7th semester.

Remarks:

The positive& negative remarks for the college is that you should placed in good companies if you follow the college pattern and it is mainly college for study here no other activities are held here except study .this is a strict college no music dance fest and singers come in college.

Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology - A student report

I gave JEE examination but got not so good marks, but I also gave exams like VITEEE where I got rank of 15000 and KITEE where I was offered ECE. But i didn't opt for them as they were too expensive. Also I wanted CSE because I was always interested in coding. Here I got Data science so I was happy. You can get admission in 2 ways here one by Counseling and the other is direct admission. In direct admission you need to contact the college and know if the process is happening or not and then you have to physically come here for the whole process which is pretty smooth, they see your documents and then tell which stream you are eligible for and then you can pay the fee and your admission is done, you need to submit documents for which they will provide dates. In counseling you have to give JEE and you can get here by JOSAA or AKTU counseling both are easy process and you pay the fee after which they will call you here for registration and document submission on a specified date. ...Read More
